Customer Reviews

Incomparable Device
This is a definitely good device. I have had many cellphones and PDA's and this is one of the most desirable ones I have ever had. It is durable, has good battery soul and an easy to use qwerty keyboard. The tilting action makes it indulgent to see what you are typing with no glare. The video resolution is satisfactory and SD card makes it as expandable as you want. You can switch out cards if you start management out of room or want to keep some files private. I greatly recommend this device. I have used it in a busy medical discipline loaded with references and resources; and with the Google movable apps bar, I am on the internet in a flash and can access the web or my Google apps. Luckily, it is rather much drop proof.
A unspoilt workhorse Smartphone - fully featured
As the term suggests, I consider this Smartphone to be a good work horse.

A before poster listed a few features on this device, I've expanded some of the element on that and added some other info.

* Tether as a modem - terribly helpful and less expensive than buying a standalone aircard.
* Busty keyboard - there is a soft keyboard you can type on without having to skim out the keyboard everytime you need to type something.
* Can open, compile, save Microsoft office files (word, powerpoint, etc) (on an iPhone you can at most view not edit).
* Screen tilts - helpful to reduce glower
* Create ringtones on the fly by choosing a song and right clicking - without other cost

Helpful tips for Windows Mobile

Periodically Windows Movable devices experience registry corruption. The best resolution is to mount a hard reset on the device clearing out the memory and essentially freshly construction the device. By doing these periodic resets (in my experience 2 times a year is resultant), the device remains responsive and less buggy.

There is a lot of functionality built into the Tilt that is close by. It is one of the better Windows devices for navigation. Using a bluetooth GPS bug the machinery can do quite well guiding without the necessity of having to buy a singletasking handheld helmsmanship system.

Scorn this phone!!
This phone stinks - I conviction I will buy another HTC product!!! It has been nothing but problems since I purchased it at a much higher reward. I can't wait to replace it!
Not a bad logo, still does a few things that an iPhone cannot, 2 years later
I by a hair's breadth upgraded to an iPhone. I had the tilt device for two years, it was a good phone. I enjoyed existence on the 3G network. I also used it to tether as a modem for my laptop, no issues there, profound for visiting clients at Starbucks and not having to pay for internet. Really neat not having to fumble around with setup on that tethering. I reach-me-down to watch youtube via player application, before youtube absolutely made their own plugin. I would check out Fifth Cog-wheel, top gear, etc episodes during my lunch hour, it was good fun, espcially with the tilt cover while I was eating. After two years the battery needed replacing, I not did, but it sure needed a new one. The charge was only lasting a couple hours. I dropped it twice, and had the grade replaced once for $100. The time the screen needed replacing it was thrown from the following story of my apartment, the phone is pretty durable. Most phones would be subjected to smashed to pieces.

What can it do that an iPhone can't you ask?

* Tether as a modem
* Internet Admission with AT&T via 3G for $20/month NOT $30 like on the iphone
* Bang keyboard
* SMS messaging, (add pictures to text msgs)
* Run office applications (dialogue, powerpoint, etc)
* Screen tilt
* Create ringtones on the fly by choosing a song and auspicious clicking (sweet)
* No I-Tunes or Qucktime malware

What does an iPhone do greater?
* Larger screen
* Better battery life
* Backlight vehicle adjusts brightness, saves battery
* Shuts off faster, no buttons on face that accidentally turn it on
* Looks better (impress your friends, the tilt looked like a cube)
* Better support if/wehn it breaks, at least implied
* More applications
* Larger storage up to 32gb with 3GS
* Ipod / music profession much better, easier to use etc
* Voicemail stores on the device
* GPS instrument with compass can tell you which way to turn not just your laying
* Thinner, lighter

All in all I am planning on keeping the iPhone after having the tilt for 2 years. I silence love the tilt though... nothing wrong with that phone at all.
AT&T agreement SUCKS and their expensive smartphones don't even last a year !!!
Why buy these $250+ phones and get stuck with a 2-yr undertake when the phone doesn't last even a year?
It's virtually like BAIT & SWITCH by AT&T. They stop "carrying" the pernickety expensive phone in less than a year so when the phone dies in a few months AT&T won't father to exchange it with a new one for you... but they got your contract for 2 years... with a cheaper phone in quarrel. Before wasting your money on a new expensive AT&T smartphone, ask yourself if you're ok with having to commitment exchange your new phone with a USED refurbished one in smaller number than a year.

Customer Reviews

Not the first solution
My phone has captivated a couple of hits since this seidio holster has been in use. In the same way if you have leather seats in your coupe or whatever, You dominion want to consider an alternative, another matter is the Bluetooth sensor seems to be limited somewhat by the spring-loaded clip at the top. which results in my JawBone not transmitting so wonderfully as opposed to taking my touch out of the holster.
so U might want to take to be before U buy.
my digit 1 choice
This phone encase is great. At first I had the AT&T Tilt Armor Case - The Metal Case, and bought this while I stilly was using the other product. When this arrived I tried to put it on my phone, and obvious I didn't want to use it and it was a waste of money.

I ended up breaking the metal happening (story on the feedback page for that item) and finally putting this one to some movables use. I thought I would just use it as a temporary fix until I found something control superiors, but this product has done wonders. I can actually use my phone, the tilt pulls out so that you can in reality use the keyboard (found underneath the screen) and the front doesn't organize a hard piece of plastic so you cant use the touch screen. I don't cogitate on this phone is usable without using the touch camouflage, and that's why I love this case, it provides comfort with usability.

The lightweight exterior protects the phone winsome well, I've dropped it a few times and the back or front part of the come what may might unsnap from the phone and pop off, but the phone will remnants unharmed. I recommend this product if you own the AT&T Tilt, because it will turn a big difference in feeling confident in using your phone.

Considerate luck if you go with anything else.
Lofty Case that Allows Tilting
This is one of the sole AT&T Tilt cases that allows you to open the keyboard and still tilt the phone while stillness fully protecting your phone. It is actually two pieces that vigour onto the phone snugly. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is because when the phone is in my sack and a decent amount of pressure is applied, one of the pieces pops off.
It was friendly for a while
Worked faithful while it stayed on. Like another reviewer, mine would irregularly snap off, and after a while at least one of the little plastic lips that fix it in place on the phone broke off, so it pulls away from one surf of the phone. I'd love it, if it was a lot cheaper, or didn't break. Because it does let you use the phone in all ways, and I masterly no reception loss, either of phone bars or 3G strength. I lately think $28 is a little pricey for something that chips off in smaller amount than six months.
Passable for a while
I bought this dispute and it lasted for about six months. The case would snap off every at one time in a while. So then I would snap it back in. The fit was tight but purposes a little to tight. So there came a point when it would not keep on anymore because some of the pieces that snap poverty-stricken off. I would get a different one for the price. If there was a soft rubber one I would go for that. Letting you be informed because I appreciate others feedback. Peace tilt lover.

Customer Reviews

Move your already big phone bigger
The AT&T Tilt is already a sombre phone and this battery just makes it a lot more. If you don't disapprove of a bulging phone, then this battery if fine, not for me.
You can absolutely ejoy your Tilt/TyTN!
In the wake of six months of use, I have to say I'm very impressed with the battery. I stilly have 34% remaining at the end of the day, even with my Tilt checking email every 5-15 minutes. Yes, my cradles and holsters are unserviceable, and the cover is poor quality, but it still stays on despite missing two trough clips. It does take a little longer to charge than the archetype OEM battery, but it lasts a lot longer. I once had 3 days standby space while stuck in an EDGE networked area, can your Tilt/TyTN go a day without years charged? If the battery cover were as good as the original supplied by HTC, this would be a 5 brilliant item. I could only be happier if the cover was a better fit and raise quality. No TILT/TyTN user should pass up this take into account. Spend less than $15 to save your self-control and lose frustrations caused by a useless OEM battery.
The new Clothe is not adequate.
The travel that it comes with is not adequate. The original cover has a phony lens protector that protects the camera lens, and a metal range grill that protects the speaker. This new cover has neither of those. Decent a hole where the camera lens is, and several holes for the tub-thumper. This leaves the camera lens itself extremely powerless to scratches and permanent damage. I put an old screen protector on the inside of the obscure to mimic the original cover, but it blurs the camera image.

In the same way the color of this cover (Light Black) does not agree the phone color (Dark Black).

I would avoid this and get one with a superiority cover.
The break down was not sealed
The duffel bag was not sealed and so there is a possibility it could have been acquainted with when you are buying new. It is bulkier but have the advantage of using the room phone for long time between charging (considering the fait accompli that i felt regular ones have to be charged again). The cover fitted the cell phone well.
Works shapely but very bulky
It made my phone ungainly but extended the battery life. The original battery would at about an hour. Now this battery lasts most of the day. If I use the internet persistently and all the features plus talk on it; it may die within four to six hours of use.The disavow plate does not stay on to well. For the price it is very fair.

Customer Reviews

It's kinda big
I got this adapter principally so that I could listen to Pandora or utilize the Google Maps helmsmanship function with ear buds while I was charging the phone. I does what I bought it for, but it's kinda big. Seems to me that the engineers could demand gotten away with something half this immensity.
Illustrious deal ...
On something that stores overcharge for. I've seen this element for sale for 29.95.
Excessive Buy (obviously bulky product)
I bought a few of these in the summer of 09 for my partner's and my G1's. They seemed to stop working all of a sudden after unmercifully a week. I read reviews that this happened repeatedly and figured I was taking a risk when purchasing so I tossed a team a few out. I recently read that it was due to one of the Android updates and there was an app to neaten up this work again. You need to download ToggleHeadset2. . . [...]. Fortunately I relieve had one on hand and tested it and it worked as advertised so I purchased an additional one. I bring into the world no used it for a couple months with no problems and will no cured if it stops working to search for app updates.

The product itself is awkward so it is not ideal for use in your pocket (walking, running, exercising, etc). Anyhow, this is a great product for the car. I also have one hooked up with a mount and an input to my stereo. For these types of things, it is perfect and I exceptionally recommend you spending the few bucks.

I still cannot believe HTC, Google, and T-travelling would have released their first Android phone with out a 3.5mm jack.
Mediocrity at its most excellent
This started out as a 3-4 shooting star product for me, but after it started malfunctioning I had to lower it to 1. Initially, the adapter works delicate, but there's a catch: you can't use any headphone input that doesn't beget an inline mic. It works just fine if you have headphones with an inline mic, but when I went to hook up my phone to my car stereo the however sound was coming out of my phone (the adapter was plugged in and the aux cable was plugged in and the stereo worked hardly fine), Put it simply, anything that doesnt have an inline mic won't efficiency sound, the phone will use its internal speakers.

About a month or so at the rear of I bought this adapter I noticed that sound would stay coming out of 1 headphone. I would move the adapter a little and both earplugs would effort. After two weeks of that I noticed songs randomly skipping bc any innards of the adapter can adjust songs and it didn't register the button on my headset that turns the call on or off (it also allows me to play/interrupt).

all in all, a very mediocre product that is just not built identical well and ultimately fails. I'm going to try to find a different adapter now because I'm all through this piece of crap. I would highly advise population to stay away from this product and just outside out a little more cash for something better.
Works flagrant
Wonderful easy to use, just plug and play. I can finally listen to music anew! I lost the original headphones about a month ago, and got this adapter. I am using a instilled rom and I did not have to install any applications.

Customer Reviews

chattels product, fast shipping!
would obviously us seller again! and if i needed another battery i would by this one for trustworthy, inexpensive and productive!
This Freestyle is Awful
It is distinctly not 1600 mAh
Battery life is approx 20% less than type OEM.
Weaker than old mobile I bought it to replace
Quick-witted review. Pretty heavy user of email, occasional web browsing using skyfire (serious battery drain) bluetooth for phone. I try to manage power strain by turning off BT and 3G when I can. Old 1350 mAh battery was almost dead, on a common day after about 12 hours of use. New "larger capacity" mobile can not even make it 7 hours. After a week of trying to form the battery (although I have read that these batteries cannot be conditioned I mental activity I would give it a try) but no improvement. It is going back
Reasonably battery poor performance
This 1600mAh freestyle was purchased to replace the 1300mAh that came with my ATT TILT chamber phone. this replacement does not have the capacity of the orignal and discharges much faster. When I complained they sent me a shopping list of things to do "to get better performance". The standard advice re fully charging the Battery-operated before use and 12 hour charges, etc. The orignal ATT batery would fully direction in 4 hours. I will follow their advice to the 'T' for a week and see if it gets raise. Very doubtful given the Lion technology. Will proffer it if it does not match the performance of the original "smaller" battery.
mislabeled freestyle
I had the nonetheless problems with this battery that others did. It is NOT 1600mAh, notwithstanding its label saying so. It weighs much less than the master battery, which is a good indication that it has less capability. My guess is that it is actually a 1100mAh battery in disguise.

Stop away.

Customer Reviews

Surprising increase in battery life
I precisely purchased this and already see a vast improvement over the reservoir battery. My stock was at minimum of three years old and I always wardship when 10% or below and charge with the phone off at smallest amount of once per week to get a full charge without load. I managed to get fair over a day of heavy use (data, text, phone calls, wifi at proficient in, etc) on the stock OEM battery. Only after a single charge on this new battery-operated, I am on my second day and around 40% with the same amount of use. I'm looking speed up to seeing the performance after the 3-5 charge cycles when the instruction specify the battery is at full performance. This really is a good battery-operated for the price and the fact its the same size as the OEM battery, its a good surrendering for a little extra horsepower.

Highly recommended!!!
OK Mobile
Its an OK mobile. Can get about 40-45 minutes talk time and have email accounts read-through every 5 minutes. Once you have other apps like IM and Skype fulfilment drops and likely about mid afternoon you need to recharge. Max talk formerly is about 55minutes with little or no EDGE/3G apps.

Much advance performance than my OEM battery, but still not the performance I would guess from an Extended life battery.
Misused my life.
Had frazzled my original battery out in less than a year such that it wouldn't continue the work day. Did not realize that other problems I was having with the phone (such as dropped calls) were coordinated to the weak battery. Charges rapidly and holds the charge exactly for days of use - far better than the original battery.
advantageous item at fair price
the particular seem to be working fine, the price was fair. well research again if needed.
But for
This mobile fits perfectly in my TYTN II. I can make phone calls, send texts and download emails all day and I stationary have battery life by late in the night. It makes individual so much easier, especially when I have to be at various locations for my job.
