Major Case!
This trunk fits the LG Chocolate perfectly and makes it much easier to use and hold (provides a fine solid grip). All controls still easily available. Another big plus is that the case includes a plastic window to top the easily scratched exterior screen. Nice to have the recourse to clip on the case although I don't need it. Great case that is advantage the $!

Not A Terribly Good Option
While the wrapper itself is moderately attractive and offers good protection, the cestus clip is completely unacceptable. It has a bottom release which is Merest difficult to access and it is very fragile. Within one week, I had not simply developed tendinitis in my wrist, but the belt clip broke in a fundamental bump against a door frame.
Even though the pack offers good protection and has a clear plastic window on the casing, the window is easily scratched and the rubberized material of the case was surely chipped or otherwise damaged. Also, because of the rubberized secular, it is very difficult to remove from your pocket (which I had to do when the perimeter clip broke).
In summary, do NOT even consider buying this case if you be in want of to clip it to your belt (or anything else for that upset). If you are only going to keep it in a purse or carry bag, it desire work, but there are other far more attractive and less high-priced options.

complicated for the first few weeks, but it ends up scratching the phone!
I surely liked this case when i first got it, but after having it for a few weeks, it scratched my phone lovely bad. I'm not using the case anymore because of this. I have the insidious version of the chocolate 3, which seems more susceptible to scratches and fingerprints anyways. my girlfriend has the fire blue phone and it isn't nearly as bad

Adequate
Recieving my artefact was timely as usual. The material is durable and sturdy. Two small knocks on this artifact is that the belt clip tends to not hold secure all the ever and sometimes my phone tends to seperate from the back liveliness-on portion of case. Other than that, it is worth the purchased quotation.

Able case for Chocolate 3
This is a immense case for anyone that wants to protect their Chocolate 3 phone. Entirely rugged and durable. Also fits perfectly and tightly! Satisfyingly removable clip. The only down-side is, that it does get away from the sleek shiney look of the Chocolate 3. But then another time it's a protective case, so you have to expect that. All function buttons are fully accessable. Amazon does it anew with great products at great prices!

indication: do not buy this phone!
rate yourself warned... this phone is a piece of trash! my case started to crack at the hinge at about 1 year. on a 2 year crease that means you're stuck with a broken phone for a year. source is currently held together with crazy glue until the deal is up. i have had several lg phones and this is by far the worst. cheaply made phone.

Blanket good phone, one big kink
I got the phone in all directions 6 months ago looking for a music/flip phone. I was initially impressed with the wheel and features of it although it took a bit of playing around to figure out how to add music and longer to configuration out how to get new ringtones without getting on the internet to download them (adapted to a website that would text it to the phone). Once I got it figured out admitting that, it was simple to navigate through music and had multiple categories to variety it: all songs, artists, albums, and genres. The speakers are loud, the camera is very good and I like that you can still use it with the phone closed.
The exclusively thing that I don't like about it is the reliability of the wheel and forefront button on the cover. I've had the phone for 6 months now and I'm about to be on my fourth phone. I'm guessing that it gets lam out of here up in my pocket but the four buttons when you press the wheel fluff, rotating the wheel itself, and the center button either visit working completely or start acting erratically when you try to use it. Erractically by years difficult to use accurately or it would start working by itself, scolling from stem to stern music or other menus.
I'm guessing I'm not the only person this has happened to since it's been a accordance problem although I haven't read anyone else having the done problem. If it wasn't for this, I would rate it a five and I was on the rampart between three and four stars. I like the phone, I of LG does well with their products, but I think I'll be getting a personal phone because of this problem.

Don't buy this phone
I did my homework and conclude from reviews about this phone and thought I was getting a considerate one. My battery has not held a charge for long from the beginning and now smaller quantity than 10 mos later the battery IS TRASHED. When I try to claim b pick up someone, it shuts off, when I answer a call and begin talking it shuts off. Now I get to buy other phone, another battery (that will last how dream of???) or use my old phone.
This is not a good phone, its slippery, it requirements a case to help you hold on to it, and the loud tones will scare you everytime they ring or "go off" in a quiet place.
What a exhaust of money, as I bought it before the price dropped to what its unqualifiedly worth. Gee do I sound negative?

Sticky fascia, shoddy call quality - I may have gotten a Lemon, but...
Disclaimer - I see a lot of reassuring reviews here, so I see I'm probably going to be a sole dissenter. I was shopping for the overwhelm flip I could find, and don't really use the media features.
This phone is the leading letdown I've had in a long time in consumer electronics. My former phone was a Toshiba VM4050 from Sprint that lasted me almost 5 years (yup). In it's last year, yes I had to keep the battery in with passageway tape (heh), and it was beat to hell, but the call quality was outstanding, and it quiescent worked; very well I might add. I should have kept it...and in this are the reasons why:
(1) Build/Design: I doubt this LG Chocolate 3 will identical make it a year. I'm pretty gentle with electronics, but the face fascia looks like a warzone relic after at most four months. Four months! The chrome edges pass out off if you look at them for too long, and the clear front fascia scratches more handily than car clear-coat. And now, sometimes the phone makes an ear-splitting feedback-class sound when I flip it closed. Plus the odd wheel on the face is unnecessarily touchy to use when "sleep"ing an alarm clock.
(2) Easy reach Quality: The call quality is horrendously over-compressed - to the peninsula that I ask folks to repeat themselves several times a telephone call. This might be a Verizon net issue, as I had outstanding call distinction with my Toshiba on Sprint, but my area is well covered by VZ and not one of my VZ friends have the same problem.
(3) Verizon UI: While I am begrudgingly habituated to to it now, I loathe the User Interface. I can't put my finger on it (pun intended), but the VZ UI is just altogether counter-intuitive to me. Some examples include unnecessary again steps to drill to the menus you want, odd predictive cursor movements while texting, idiotic coupй-capitalization when using apostrophes.
Those are the negative places of interest. On the plus side, the battery life is excellent, it has fun media features that I don't use (by a hair's breadth wanted an excellent flip) and...well...it hasn't given me growth. That's about all I can say.
If you really like what the phone does, then write out sure to purchase some sort of clear film to preserve the front, make sure you are o.k. with the VZ UI, and try a few calls to see if the quality is kindly enough for you.
I'm glad a lot of people like the phone, but I'm probably present to have to transition to something else (expensively).

slimy AND tough.
I've Euphemistic pre-owned this phone extensively for the past year (i have the despondent one). Just last night it got immersed in water and stopped working. so i put it in the oven at 125 degrees for 20 minutes (this was in the rear i had a box fan blowing on it overnight), and now it works perfectly. Not to mention being dropped to the astound countless times, I'm really impressed by the durability. I am considering some divide of cover or case, since my luck may be finally running out.
Impose upon it took better pix at night (excellent camera when there is ample light), and i wish the fm transmitter actually worked in my Ford Well-; I think the issue is that if you live in a market where there's in fact a station at every point on the dial, the phone can't compete with those signals. When i was in belize, where transmit was scared, it worked well... and that's when you penury it to work most anyway, where there is not much else on but Spiritual-minded propaganda, Mestizo and Punta Rock.
Contrary to other posts, i consider texting on it is pretty user friendly (I text very as often as not). And the auto-erase function is very nice, calibrate erasing the oldest texts to allow new ones to come in (unless their locked, which is rigorous for conveniently storing addresses and other info). However, I'm confident plenty of phones have this feature these time.
actual phone function is good: crisp and clear. Music punter is nice and functions much like an ipod when closed. You can cook up d be reconciled playlists, and even has settings to boost treble or bass, enlarge vocal presence, and things like that. the internal lecturer is as good as one could hope.
One other recent issue w/ excavation: when i get a text, it does its normal notification, but then if i don't spin it open, it thinks the text is still unread (despite living displayed on the front screen), and then will vibrate tiresomely for about 15 seconds, which seems like perpetuity if you're not in a situation to get it out of yr pocket. Perhaps this is unique to my phone?
If your predominance is to have a music-playing clam-shell style phone that likewise functions well as a phone (sad we have to provide this quality these days), then this is your phone. I think about its price is actually quite fair and remains my favorite verizon phone of all epoch (tied with the vx 6100)
PS To make your own ringtones, use the voice memo use (has its own hotkey, which is awesome), record anything in the world you ponder is special, and then you can save the differently differently, as needed. Records from a stereo orator just fine, might take a couple tries to get it righteous right... and this way you're in control of the volume too.
