I can't put one's trust in that I got this battery replacement for such a low price. It is an Saving except battery replacement. Now my phone lasts about 3 days with natural use of calls, texting and mostly internet.

I'm not too hearty about this phone.The camera is stomach-churning. Fuzzy photos. All my shots came out looking sort of like impressionist paintings. That can be kinda coolness, but I'd rather add that effect later if I want it. I've had way cheaper phones with way nicer cameras.
The QWERTY keyboard is small, but for a texting phone it has a couple of annoying features:
The text recollection fills up too fast, so you gotta delete em pretty regularly.
It won't let you comprise a text that is longer than "one" text. So if you are long winded you secure to stop typing, send your message, then pick up anew where you left off. My last phone would let you compose your chiefly message, then break it into as many texts as it took to send the entire message, and confirm you want to send that many. That's what I'd choose. I hate having my train of thought interrupted by lack of potential.
Also, when you want to shoot a video clip you drink to decide before you start shooting whether you want a midget clip or a long one. If you choose a long clip it won't let you send the cuff using multimedia messaging, but if you choose a short clip you can certainly miss what you wanted to capture.
The sliding mechanism is amiable, but be really careful not to let any grit in there 'cause once it's in there it is about impossible to clean out the grit, and you will feel it in there everytime you yield the keyboard forever.
I was not able to find a nice case that would safeguard the phone from grit and dust, while still allowing it to glide open and closed. There are plenty of snap on and other types of cases if all you be enamoured of about is how the exterior looks.
There is a keyguard which keeps any buttons from years active while the phone is in your pocket, unless you either cling down the "back" button or the keyboard slides out a little. Unfortunately it is nice-looking easy for the keyboard to slide open in your pocket, which means the keyguard is not physical and you can pocket dial without realizing it.
There is a speakerphone which is elementary to turn off and on, however the speaker isn't nearly loud enough. I'm in California where you can't talk on your phone anymore while driving unless you use a "hands unconstrained device." Speaker phone counts as hands unused if the phone is in your lap, so (since I can't be bothered to keep track of and upkeep charged up a good bluetooth headset,) I end up using my speakerphone while driving, and it's hardly barely not loud enough for me to hear well. The person I'm talking to tends to enjoy trouble hearing me when I'm on speaker phone, too, even when I'm using it in a perceptive quiet room. I think it's because of the placement of the microphone, but who knows.
I concoct the worst thing about this phone is that wording messages are displayed right on the screen as soon as the phone receives them. This can be a incorrigible and can be awkward if you receive a text message of a personal nature when your phone happens to by duplicitous on your desk at work where your boss puissance happen to see "Did you get that other job you interviewed for?" or the dining table where your spouse can see "Thanks for the unrealistic night" (just kidding. sort of.)
It's a good phone with a clean keyboard, but hopefully the Rumor 2 has improved on some of these issues.
GR-R-Reat texting phone!
I've had this phone for not quite 2 years now and I have loved it! The only reason I'm replacing it is because it's been 2 years and I get my $150 bribe so why not! I waited and waited for sprint to finally come out with a phone with a directly key board and it was def. worth the wait. the only con I have with this phone is the camera 1.3 megapixel pics are not the best! I gave up the internet 6 months ago but use the phone to talk and text. Never used the music on the phone unquestionably didnt know about it when i did have the internet. I hand down be passing this phone down to my 14 year old son when i get my new phone. Thanks to sprint for now having choices on bursting keyboards that aren't all smart phones!!! Confidence this helped!
i attraction you but I REALLY hate you
when i outset got this phone i was so excited because i am really addicted to texting. i young lady the qwerty feature it makes it so much easier for texters!
the entirety was going fine but then i started to notice that my phone would to off by itself. it did this repeatley and it was VERY annoying because i had missed a reader or a phone call. i took it into the sprint store and i deliberating they fixed it but apparently not because now it continues to turn off by itself, when i log onto the internet it freezes AND when i hornbook or simply use my phone the lighting gets dim and dark!
i am so FUSTRATED with this phone! i cannot recess until i can change it!!
LG260 Charging problems
Do not buy this phone. It has a known conception issue with the charging pins on the main board. LG desire not honor warranties on it. Don't take my word for it, do a search on the net and you will bargain MANY upset users.
Conserve yourself headaches
Keep yourself a headache (or several if you try to get help from their fellow service line) and don't buy this phone. If you are on Sprint, buy the Samsung Expatiate. My daughter picked this phone because she thought it was ingenious. We've had it less than 7 months and it's already is broken. The end call handle has stopped working. I sent it into LG for repair and they are refusing to honor their pledge. The rep told me that my daughter carrying it into the bathroom or thriving outside when it is raining (even in her pocket) violated the covenant because it wasn't normal usage. I've had the Rant for about a year now and it's stone solid. A much better product than the Rumor.
