most superbly phone i ever hadThis phone is the maximum effort one i ever had. The battery life is great. When i was on deployment, i Heraldry sinister my battery in the phone for 7 months, after i turned it, it still had partially a battery. The camera works really good. I'm upgrading straightway but this phone will be my back up if i have a problem with the new one. I dont cognizant of why other people are complaining. I haven't had a single problem with this phone.
Awful PHONE!
This phone has Tons gliches and will flip the screen upside down and not grant you to do anything! I had 5 (YES 5!) different phones of this dummy, because the software continued to go bad on every one! One of them turned off randomly and would not turn away on for a half hour! Do NOT buy this phone what-so-ever! You drive regret it. Believe me, I wish I could go back on this realize.
I repeat. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!
Populace ARE IDIOTS
I got my phone stand behind in 2007 (decemeber) and it was love at first site! i love rosy and i love how stylish it was. Now its almost the end on 2009 and a few things are dinged up but that my defect from basic wear and tear. PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS... you gobbledygook give a phone a bad review if you drop it and crack your filter and then blame the phone. IDIOTS! how ever any one takes fancy of their phone.... is how long it will last & look reputable.
As far as the technical stuff... theirs a "Bad" phone out of so many. i notion of LG's ratio is for every 200 phones one is a little funny. Ive not had any issues with mine. The touch screen may have been a bit laggard... but this was kinda of a new deal. The newer phones you can adjust them and stuff.
So over all i love my phone and people are idiots :)
Integrity phone with a few flaws.
I've had this phone for thriving on two years now and I would still to this day say that it is the best slider phone out there, but that doesn't abysmal that it is perfect.

At worst Good During Its Novelty Phase
I attired in b be committed to owned the LG Venus since December, 2007. I typically do not write reviews, but I be subjected to to mention why this has been one of the worst cell phones I deliver ever had.
The original aesthetic appeal of the LG Venus was what tempted me to buy the phone. I loved the immature box shape with the rounded edges, the silver chrome here the touch screen, and the faux leather back. However, I did not understand that the aesthetics would easily deteriorate over ordinary use.
1) The screen protector flaked off of my phone. I had bought replacements, but they on no account stuck as long as the original. Because of this, the entire fa of my phone is destroyed. Not only is it littered with scratches, but it seems that the black sketch out around the screen where it says "LG" and "Verizon" is just a sticker and has incompletely flaked off. Never have I heard or seen such an impressive component of a phone be constructed out of a simple sticker and not some straighten out of plastic.
2) The silver chrome has flaked off tremendously. Even all the same this is a paint, I did not expect for it to chip off so quickly. Under the mellifluous chrome is a dull grey color which is extremely unattractive.
3) Like the deadly sticker, the buttons on the keypad also seems to be a sticker. Because this is a slider phone, the phone really scratches the stickers every time the phone is slid outspoken or shut. In particular the "2" has flaked off.
In addition to the diminishing decorative appeal of the LG Venus, there are some other functions which are missing or gimped. There is NO Stroke on the camera. Even though the camera has many resolutions, the display will still turn out grainy and dim. There is nothing one could do to put together the picture not appear dim.
The headphone jack is not a 3.5mm but a 2.5mm, which means you very much have to buy proprietary headphones if you wish to use the phone as a music sportsman. Headphones with 2.5mm jacks are typically more overpriced and not of high quality.
The touch screen controls are unresponsive at times. I could be holding fine hair the "OK" button and it will blink as if I touched it, but nothing will meet with. This will occasionally happen when scrolling as coolly, but the touch screen controls for the most part are pretty alive.
While on the phone, the audio is pretty clear. There is a knob to lower and raise the volume while in call, even but the range from loudest to quietest is not big.
While this phone is advertised with the "Get it Now" features, the room phone has incredibly gimped internet. There is full internet on the phone, but because the phone has such a tiny resolution, pages will look extremely distorted. In the same way, due to the limitations of its memory, most web pages WILL NOT LOAD. The flagitiousness a wrong "insufficient memory" pops up, so buying this phone with the aim of browsing the web is not advised.
Overall, this phone has been a big distress. I regret buying this phone and will replace it with a Blackberry, which is known to eat a more sturdy construction. If the phone did not have such a tinsel construction, then I would have given it a higher rating.
