Secure but flawed
My unlocked KRAZR came from Germany, which late setting it to English went fine. However, the time was wierd, so I reset it to US EST -- it lull won't hit the tower time when in other time zones. What's with that???
Every once in a while it doesn't ring (it's set to a loud ringtone, not vibrate, etc) when called, but desire beep 'missed call' as it should -- still working on that one. No headphone jack, contrariwise bluetooth -- I can live with it. Other than that, sweetie the design and color... but wouldn't recommend.

Sound Phone
I've had this phone for 2 years. I've dropped it certain times and it still works. It's sturdy. The design is awesome. I like how feel discomfited it is. They don't make small phones like this anymore. I liking they still made this phone. I would buy other. After a couple years tho I find I need to replace the freestyle or I may upgrade to something else. Otherwise, this phone has been with me for a big time and still works!
Gigantic phone
Precise happy with this purchase. The phone does not play a joke on all the new bells a whistles, but for phone conversation, taking pictures, freestyle life and reception are great. The phone is constructed well and feels it is made warmly. One thing I am happy to report is that all my old USB chargers from other Motorola phones I bear owned all work on this phone also in an emergency I was really able to use my car charger off my garmin nuvi GPS.
Motorola KRZR K1 Unlocked Apartment Phone
I am very contented with this phone. I bought this phone to go on a globe-trot to China and Hong Kong. I was skeptical at first. I read a lot of reviews anterior to making the purchase. When I received the phone, I tried my AT&T sim take action and it worked. When I arrived China, I put in the local sim card and it worked like a good-luck piece. My second stop to Hong Kong, the local sim card anew worked like a charm. Now that I am back in the US, the phone works like it alleged to. Also, the phone charger is the same as the Razr V3, so I can use my own charger as contrasted with of the European charger with a US adapter which came with the phone. The purely negative is the user manual is in German. I had to find an English one online. I experience not figured out all the details on the phone yet. I will definitely recommend this phone to character who likes Motorola phone, and does not text a lot.

I deceive had this phone for a while now (about a year). The software crashes every dated I turn the phone on. It usually takes about 3 tries ahead the phone boots up trouble free. when it does boot up without problems, it does so least slowly. I was not happy with this phone. I gave it to a different place in the end and got a Nokia instead.

This phone was in effect disappeared me!
1. Decidedly bad key pad design. Guys with big fingers wouldn't operate it decorously. Around the ring pad, there are six keys squeezed together, so selfsame difficult to work on them.
2. Vibration is too weak to feel it.
3. Weight up is very slow. Need over-night to fully do battle with up.
4. ....
When I was wondering if I should return it, the phone cannot be charged up any more. Hence, I returned it without any more hesitation. Because I ordered diverse accessories with it, and I cannot/or not worth to return them, so it noiseless costs me a quite lot except for all those inconveniences.

horrendous
If I could shell out c publish this zero stars, I would. Worst phone I have planned ever owned. I will NEVER purchase another motorola phone once more. Not only is the battery life so pitiful that I had to purchase a car stallion to make sure I had battery life in an emergency but the battery warn cannot be turned off without turning off the phone. So, guess who has to get up in the halfway of the night to find the phone somewhere in the house- the battery notify is so LOUD (not adjustable) that it wakes up the whole house. And it goes off every twinkling of an eye or 2 for the hour it takes for the darn thing to die. Also, one of the reasons I find creditable the battery life is so poor is because the image on the front of the phone lights up every 30 seconds- entirely distracting if you sleep with your phone near you in bed, and likewise a huge and pointless waste of energy.

Inconceivable response from Vendor
I not in any way take the time to write a review, but this time I handle I must go the extra mile to do so, as Hassle Free Cell Phones obviously did for me. I am living and working in Vietnam and needed an unblocked cell phone I could use in this and in the USA. I found a KRZR K1 on Amazon and purchased it on my recent visit home. When the phone at home it didn't work. I sent it back and they sent me marginal one. The second phone worked but would not ring when receiving a designate. I was 4 days from returning to Vietnam and didn't have duration to send the 2nd phone back and wait for a replacement. I thought I was just out the price of the phone and would participate in to wait till I returned to America next spring to buy substitute one, or pay the inflated prices here in Asia. I called Hassle At liberty Returns and explained my situation. To my surprise they sent me a replacement and 2 spare batteries overnight express. I got the replacement the day I was leaving for Asia. The phone works superbly, and I love it! I also love Hassle Free Cell Phones for providing such talented customer service. I will never hesitate to buy from them in the approaching, they stand by their productsMotorola KRZR K1 Unlocked Phone with 2 MP Camera, MP3/Video Trouper, and MicroSD Slot--International Version with Warranty (Negro). Oh yeah one other thing. They told me to keep the phone that didn't corona as a back up. I think that is incredible.
Not reservation what I expected
Comprehensive: After a bit over a month of usage, I'd call it OK.
PROs: It works. It has a camera and video jock.
CONs: The video player is not what I expected. Key pad is small. The in consideration of on the tiny screen is so-so.
Okay, I admit, I haven't used the phone a lot yet or gotten greatly buddy-buddy with it. I was looking for a phone that I could use in the U.S. and abroad, where I am living and working now, and I was looking for one I could use to reputation video/audio without having to lug around another gadget. (Is there a device out there for under $300, let's say, that has an unlocked quad-team up phone--not one that comes with the purchase of two-year cubicle phone plan, a PDA, and a decent video camera all in one?)
Video CD--20 secs at a time:
The big disappointment was the video record. I was looking step up to having it available when I'm out and about and want to record something unexpected chance, which is fairly often in Nairobi. It records for only 20 seconds at a on occasion. One time it didn't even capture the audio. And, when I won over the videos to my computer, they were the inky dinkiest scarcely things I ever imagined. I can only pray that the audio force at least record--there are times when all I really neediness is to record some sound...
Russian:
The phone, books, and keypad came in Russian. Now, of all the languages they could induce chosen, Russian was a good one for me, since I have a Masters in it. I can see how that power be a bit tough though for someone who doesn't know a language. Peradventure they should provide some quickee instructions with the phone on switching the phone to English. Good a thought... The keypad in Russian is a little annoying. Perchance someday I'll be so familiar with the keypad that I don't need to look, but, dejectedly, I have just gotten into txting the last combine years living in Kenya, where it's really cheap. So, some of the Russian letters that look like English letters decoy me off at times.
Keypad:
I am coming from a simple Nokia phone whose keypad was vastly nice for my fingers. I do not have big fingers, but the KRZR keypad is too small and hard-boiled to use for my taste.
MP3 Player:
Plays quite well...nice...I like it. I last will and testament look forward to using that in my car in Kenya...much easier than dealing with CDs (tied if I had a CD player in the car). Not sure how that will suck the battery power--will arrange to find out.
MicroSD card--no more than 2GB:
I did see this somewhere later, but, do take in the phone supports no more than a 2GB card. I got a 4GB--doesn't employment. The 2GB works great.
I haven't tried the phone yet in Nairobi, where I disposition be using it extensively. So, basically, the jury is still out... Well-founded wanted to give you my initial thoughts.

So Far - So encomiastic
My mate has had this phone for just a shot time - so, so far - so good. Her just complaint is that the KRZR cannot use the MP3 tunes on the micro card as jingle tones. This feature shortfall was not disclosed by Amazon within its by-product description.

I had to search the internet to secure another KRZR
I loved my 1st KRZR so much I searched the interent to allot a new one rather than try some new phone with more things to establish. I use a laptop, not my phone, for the internet so I am very happy with my achieve. ATT was not happy with me asking where did I get it, but they just lust after me to buy into a contract and need all new accessories.

This is an unbelievable phone. After using an LG VU and wondering if I would receive my calls,linger connected to a call, or be able to hear/understand the person I was talking to due to so much flak, this phone is wonderful. I still have AT&T so obviously my problems were with the phone. I tremendously recommend the Motorola KRZR K1 as well as UnlockedCellPhonekings as the place to purchase it. I received my phone 3 generation after I ordered it.

Save that Voice Phone
I purchased a KRZR K1 unlocked phone (I got a sweet version) to replace a broken cell phone. I was looking for something with elevated voice quality and standard features such as a simple camera, participation dialing, and basic texting. I have been thrilled with how this phone has performed. Sooner and foremost, the voice quality is great. While I know my whilom phone was cheap, I thought that the voice quality and strange signal were due to my ATT service. With this phone, my space area and reception are much much improved, and I can hear most the aggregate. There is a good voice-dialing program, and the camera is indifferent with a low-res camcorder. Texting has also been very godly. Overall, I've been very pleased and satisfied, and I recommend it for being looking for a good non-smartphone.

Wonderful!
This mobile has held a charge for nearly three weeks since first receipt and charging! This includes receiving/making 3-4 calls per day on my apartment phone. It's still going strong! Buy it!

awfully good oem replacement . alot cheaper than the verizon lay away. you cant beat the price. the original battery lasted around a month. the new replacements are very cheap and i dont care they sole last a few months.

They business protect scrached but no fall protection.
Buy this if you accede to your phone in the pocket with keys or a pocketbook but 0% fall protection. So If you drop your phone with this on your phone...your phone will-power still break the glass on the front / hinges as if this wasn't on it at all. In the same way this case pops off when I dropped mine. "you can delineate I drop phones alot"

did not fit phone - dead trying to put on!
received 2 phone covers - and they brojke taxing to put them on; very cheap, poor quality - and are too small for the k1m!
It should be lousy because it's made cheap.
I bought this to care for my phone and it only lasted about a week. After solely normal wear and tear the cheap thin plastic was submersed in cracks and started breaking apart. It was never even dropped. Lastly I just took it off. Wouldn't recommend it...
