Customer Reviews
Camera replacement for me, Nice phone was a perk
Got the phone for casual about 8 months ago via Amazon.com and I'm wishing T-mobile still sold it for my other words. I bought the phone for the camera.
Pros:
* Nice camera, indubitably shares photos, *very* quick camera bootup span (just slide cover over and only about .75 support delay before the picture is taken
* Clear call superiority, including a powerful speakerphone
* Extensive feature set (WiFi, FM recipient, Media player, messaging, email, bluetooth including incursion services)
* Good predictive text engine
* Dig the keylock beat on the side. I'll miss this in whatever other phone I possess
* The hidden photo buttons are groovy. "Trash" and "Quota" buttons light up when you are in landscape photo review manner
* Purple everything? At least the phone looks good
Cons:
* The phone lacks a bit in CPU power, which you can break when you first boot the phone, end a call, or are moving round in menus a lot. There's a distinct lag for these actions, but it's not a big deal
* Low battery-operated warning vibrates and buzzes (wasting more battery...) One of those features that are definitely bugs
* Purple everything? At least the phone looks righteousness
Surprised to hear about so many people's trouble with the phone. I place of safety't had any issues with sync, phonebook, etc that weren't caused by my own tinkering with ModMyMoto.

Tickety-boo PHONE! plus much more!
I Light of one's life this phone. The reception, call quality, and camera are apart from, which are why this phone is SO GOOD. But I love it for the MP3 player. It is the Maximum effort! It is as good or better than an Ipod, really! Very weak to use with WMP. The speakers on the phone are really loud. You can use entire songs for ringtones. Earbuds are exclude. The screen has a high resoulution and you can watch short videos, including Youtube videos from the browser. I like MotoConnect that lets my phone ration photos, music, calendar, addresses, etc. with my PC. FM radio, Bluetooth, Wi-fi and Email are to hand; I can read, manage, and send E-mail, including photos. I get a cognizance when I recieve a new email. Texting can be tricky because the keys deem a while to master, but after I started using my nails, I establish the keys responsive and predictive texting fast. Motorola phone tools is a photo editing software that's lots of fun, and comes with the phone. Not too profuse apps, unfortunately T-mobile disabled Java apps, but a ModMyMoto website, GSM ring, and Motorola's website help get around some of the disabilities T-mobile put on this phone. My phone employed to shut off alot, but I learned to put some paper on top of the battery to repulse it in place. It NEVER shuts off; ever. It has taken some getting adapted to to, but the longer I use it, the more I realize how much my Motozine ZN5 has to offer. It is an excellent phone, camera, mp3 performer, PDA, plus so much more.

Ok phone, precarious camera, keys stick
I've had this phone for more than 6 months now.
Pros:
Best thing about this phone is one they no more than advertise - it has really, really good call quality. I've had a hard time with past cell phones talking to my oldish mom because she just can't understand. With this one, we have no issues. Tons of my co-workers can't tell when I'm on my cell vs. land line.
Option good thing, it seems to get a better signal than my old t-Mobil phone. Familiar to be that Verizon phones couldn't even get a signal at my parliament. T-Mobil just barely. When I got this phone, I hastily had all the bars most of the time. Very nice.
Menus are undemanding to use and intuitive.
In regards to others' comments. I've never had the OS freeze.
Camera is extraordinary although the flash is a little too intense. I took this phone/camera on my finish finally vacation - it did great. No reason to carry a camera too any longer - up when I want good pictures. Very freeing.
Cons:
The keys fast - badly. Say, if you push the '1' key - it will just stay fine hair. This makes entering phone numbers difficult. Texting plainly impossible. I returned the phone once due to this issue. I got a new one. It worked for awhile, but now is experiencing the unaltered issues. And, just as some keys stick in the down set, some won't push at all. Also, sometimes the wrong key will set out on. For example: even when I'm extremely careful to push the '*' key, '9' choice be entered instead. It is very difficult for me to call into teleconferences due to how stark it is just to get the '*' key to depress in a timely manner.
My screen on the phone I returned likewise got stuck 'on' for awhile. I attribute it to the stuck keys as well. I was bloody reluctant to buy a non-flip phone. The problems I've had with this one are making me covenant myself when this contract is up, that I will divert back.
It's very difficult to get the USB port flap open.
The wired headset that comes with the phone outwardly distorts my voice quite a bit - at least according to my co-workers. So, it's severely to make hands free calls. I haven't tried different.
Software wasn't really thought through:
Stored contacts present phone numbers in tiny, tiny, tiny font. The cull is HUGE - it would be nice if I could use a bit of it to display the numbers larger.
Time, phone numbers are displayed without hyphens in the logical locations - it would be satisfyingly if they had built this into the software. (i.e., 1234567890 vs. 123-456-7890)
Typescript choices are limited - none that easy to read.
No options for displaying larger fonts.

Virtuous replacement for 3 devices. Moto-slowness on occasion.
I've second-hand this on a daily basis for 8mo now. Some of the same gripes, selfsame praises as others.
Good candidate to replace ipod, phone, and camera in one hallmark
Pro:
feels well made: heavy, solid, and scratch-shedding
Easy to use lock slider to prevent pocket calls
Quite good music player
Great camera, replaced my with respect to make an effort to-n-shoot. GREAT camera!
Easy usb connectivity. charges conceding that usb @ same time. cool.
Good battery life
Predominantly good call, voice quality
Customizable
Can hold 4gb+ retention cards
Wireless is slick
Cons
Occasional Moto-kind slowness: random hangs. A restart every now & then helps.
Fool to remove batt to get to memory card
Originally, would twirl off when set down. Poor connection b/w batt & phone. I tweaked the connectors & made the batt fit a bit think twice with (drum roll please) DUCT TAPE. No problems since
Relaxed web
I do no contact synching or texting, no bluetooth. so use the above review @ your own gamble. For folks (like me) who wanted one good device for phone, music, and camera, this was and nevertheless is a decent choice w/o all the other bells & whistles on smartphones.

DOES NOT minister to its primary purpose
This phone has an sterling built in camera as many has stated, however this phone is plagued with all too divers problems. If you dont believe me, try getting three motozine all of them having to be returned for replacement. I usuallly encounter new problems with each replacement.
Some common problems but may not unavoidably affect your phone are
-entire OS freezing at times (everyplace from sending a pic to attempting to open a new incoming text)
-phone synchronization problems
-adrees tome deleting itself from SIM card
-address book recopying contacts
-unnecesarily re-entering the still and all contact twice
