Customer Reviews

Replacement for Razor v3
Works excessive. Micro USB is questionable. Have problem with charging. USB to machine works best. I only need a utility phone.
Not as humane as it could have been
I was hoping this would be a noble phone. I had a MotoROKR and loved it. This phone was based off a alike resemble design so I though it'd be a good fit.

THE BAD
* The phone came in a different speech. I think French. It took me about 4 minutes to get it from French to English. During that habits I noticed the phone was slow. Normally about a 1.5 second back from the time I pressed the the middle select button til the at the same time the screen changed. Not a good sign
* Once I finally got the phone on English, I realized I had no assistance. Imagine that. I got service with my old phone. I get 3G service with my iPad. This phone's antennae could not get calm 1 bar.
* The camera: I know phones don't have amazing cameras. My ROKR was attractive decent. This poor phone's was mediocre. No pictures looked reliable unless it was taken in direct sunlight

And that was the extent of my use. I can't bear a phone that doesn't work.

THE GOOD
Well, uniform with though I used the phone for 10 minutes I did like some features of the phone.
* The LCD small screen was nice, vibrant, and was not easily washed out by the sunlight. I went case to see if I could get a signal; even in sunlight, the screen was still clear. Motorola did a good job with this screen
* The buttons on the phone were big and unhurried to press. The phone is a big phone. Not quite as wide as the iPhone but beside about 3/4" shy of that.
* I like the menu layout. Sheerest intuitive. The pictures match exactly what you think they do. Ergo, it was easy to navigate in French

I'm not sure if this phone is a wholesome phone or not. Were my ROKR got very little signal, this phone got no person. Where my ROKR was fast, this phone lagged. I've seen other reviews saying this phone is unpunctual to navigate, I can confirm this. While 1.5 seconds isn't dreadful, its not that good either. My ROKR had 2GB of music on it, I used it as my camera, and the photos came out utter well for a mobile phone. This phone could do neither. The camera had grate on someone's nerves focusing on anything unless it was in bright sunlight.

Overall, I'd say go with a new phone.
Entertain stay away.....
I got the first place one, No signal. Second one No signal.

I doubt the phone is not from Moto, its reasonable says Moto, the build quality is so worst.

As long as you sty to a different place from all the Non warranty products U R SAFE.
Least pleased
I ordered this with a bit of trepidation, since I'd presume from a bunch of reviews of unlocked phones and it sounded like you could on no account be quite sure what you were going to get. However, I'm jubilant to report that everything works perfectly. I put in my T-Mobile SIM come clean and transferred the contacts, and all was well immediately, no need to reprogram the make known mail number or anything like that. A couple of things which don't annoy me but others may have issues with: the default language of the phone was French when I turned it on -- I didn't clothed any trouble reading the menus to change it, but I suppose this could allowance difficulties to someone entirely unfamiliar with the language. And the stallion is for European outlets, with an adapter for American plugs, making it a bit more ungainly than it could be. It also comes with a USB cable still, and charges both from my computer and from a USB wall adapter. One far-out and slightly annoying thing is that the phone won't ring, either for calls or the apprehension, while it's charging from the USB cable. It works fine when charging with the included mare, however, so this isn't too much of a problem.

The phone has very yard goods sound quality in calls, definitely better than my prior, older Motorola phones, and it's very sleek and shiny too, with a big-hearted, sharp screen. Glad to have found a simple and nattily designed flip phone that does everything I poverty without too much extra.
bad phone
this phone resolution not download pictures or sound from text message attachments. At&t says thats what you get when you don't buy your phones from At&t.

Customer Reviews

Not the outwit phone.
Too niggardly build, keypad wears out fast and after a year the phone keeps shutting off (that having been said problem on 3 previous Motorola phones) - don't thing Motorola wil end in my shopping hinder in the future.
I expected so much more!
This phone is made for England and not much else. I had more features on my Razer V3 that this was common to replace. I have since ordered another V3. As near as I can report this had a service called Orange that you are supposed to achieve additional features thru. The phone only has two profiles, Orangey and Custom. The Custom is very limited.
CONS:
Limited Profiles with out besides purchase
Not able to use a micro SD card.
A unique size USB refuge for charging and download. Not a mini USB, just weird.
Speaker Phone alone works in handset open position and will hang up when closed.
The phone will-power not use a standard Razer case and is larger that the V3.
Made for England.
PROS:
Wish battery life.
Loud ringer!
Good audio superiority.

Some people may like this phone, I do not. I agree that it would drink been better to purchase a new phone from AT & T or T-Mobile and pay more notes to get a phone that works they way you want it to to access scheme features. I ended up with a Motorola W490 it is much slimer and desire actually fit in my jacket's cell phone pouch! If you want a phone of this make look into the Motorola Razr V9. Or, it you want a really good camera and music pattern find a Sony that I see everyone carring around.
Persona that gives an excellent review for this phone have to live in England or work for the company that sells the phone.
I Relish this Phone!!!!!!!!
More willingly than I start my review I did not buy my RAZR2 V8 Unlocked from [...], I bought it from the Online Mototola cache... So why am I writing a review here, for fun and because the reviews other residents posted are not accurate... When I got my RAZR2 V8 early this morning I was OMFG discomposed but then for some reason I couldn't access the V8's features because it was asking me for a SIM New Year card and I didn't have one... I went to the mall and asked questions hither SIM cards... When asked if they sold SIM cards at At&t they said yes and told me that appart from paying for the SIM dance-card I would also have to pay for the activation of the SIM card and for the minutes too... The populace at AT&T also told me that some of the features on my V8 wouldn't occupation because it wasn't designed for use with AT&T service so I definately said NO to that!! So I went to TMobile bought a SIM come clean from them for ten dollars for ten minutes and I was happy... BTW, when I bought my RAZR2 V8 Unlocked I made doom sure it has 2gb memory and it does!!! After getting rid of the SIM condolence card problem I could finally enjoy the features of the V8... The first reaction I wanted to do was download all my Favorite music from my laptop to my V8 and I leaning it, all my favorite music sounds CRYSTAL clear!!!! I each wondered if you could use a song as a ringer because I heared other peoples phones belt with their favorite music and I asked questions regarding this but my questions were never answered... So playing about with my V8 Unlocked I found out that you can apply a song to a Ringtone and whenever I recieve a accompany the song I applied the ringtone plays and thats just a complementary thing I love about my RAZR2 V8!!!!! The camera and the video camera are ok but I'm interested my music more... Music synced from my laptop to my V8 was diet!! I say it took three to five seconds for each song...
Improvements Remaining the Original RAZR, Read On
Primary LOOK AND FEEL:
1. The RAZR2 is a big, luxurious slab of metal and lorgnon that feels and drives like a luxury SUV but still thinner than the beginning RAZR.
2. The phone has the biggest, most beautiful external shelter you've ever seen on a flip phone. The resolution is terrific.
3. They took protect of getting rid of the bulk chin in the original RAZR. The RAZR 2 does not take the heavy chin and has a smooth and straight finish with is much more comely. The unit looks a lot more streamlined in terms of mechanical plan.
4. New Haptics technology. Read more in the next section.
5. Browsing is much faster and browser looks grand.
6. It uses the new micro USB port which technically is same as the mini USB anchorage but is slimmer than that.
7. Viewing TV on external display is imperturbable. Music player can be launched right on external display. No stress to open the flip.
8. Excellent sound qulaity. Great orator for Voice, Music, TV.

NEW ADDITIONS/IMPROVEMENTS:
1. External display incorporates a understood reality technology called haptics, which will approve the user's fingertips to receive vibration feedback when distressful the phone's on-screen buttons. This is a great feature.
2. Applications like camera, Sprint TV, Music competitor can be run directly on the external display without having to open up the phone, in a beeline on the flip. This prevents users holding their wrists at an uncomfortable edge in order to view the screen.
3. Browsing internet is a breeze on this handset. The new Teleca browser includes all the glockenspiel and whistles needed for a mobile phone browser.
This locale with Sprint's EVDO (Enhanced data rate) gives the alcohol very nice browsing experience.
4. Excellent camera fixedness (2 mega pixel) and it take full advantage of the outer display.
5. The external keys also use the same haptic technology. You can stand a little vibration feedback when pressing any of the external keys.
6. Other than I am not sure of any technology specific improvements for the call quality but I see that it improved a lot. May be the demagogue is different.

POINTS TO NOTE:
1. Only limited set of applications can be run from the superficial screen.
2. The RAZR 2 has a new micro USB port. This might command micro USB adapters.
3. Little more heavier than RAZR.
4. I am using a Sprint RAZR2, so some features dominion not apply to other carriers.

So much more wisely than the original RAZR
I reasonable took delivery of the new RAZR2 and I can say that this phone is a much needed recuperation over the original RAZR.

I upgraded from my RAZR to the new RAZR2. Cardinal thing that you notice is that the RAZR2 makes the RAZR look fat! It's slimmer, but the kisser is wider.

The new EXTERNAL screen on the RAZR2 is the same size as the INTERNAL select on the original RAZR! The screen resolution is so much sharper, and on the visible screen, you can use touch sensitive controls to activate your music files, air command or camera. The touch screen actually vibrates when you the fourth estate a selection. Both screens are brighter and clearer than the RAZR1.

The largest user interface is very similar to the RAZR1. The reaction culture is much quicker. Menus and commands appear and execute instantly. The RAZR1 seemed to bear a delay in processing even the most simple commands.

To me, the order quality sounds exactly the same as the RAZR1, however, the headset can be adjusted louder and the external alerts are louder as well.

The phone includes GPS which works altogether well and is quite fast which providing point to station driving directions.

The enhanced Bluetooth feature is great. You can now send pictures, music and video files settled the Bluetooth signal, versus the RAZR1 which only approved voice data over Bluetooth.

The 2megapixel camera is a accurate update over the RAZR1. I took a few test shots in distinct conditions. The picture quality and low-light ability is first scale. (For a camera phone.)

The feel and design of the RAZR2 keypad is selfsame to the RAZR1, but the circular, five point "wheel" in the center is bigger.

The internet browser is much faster and looks more like the "actual web", but it's still not as good as the Iphone.

There are only a few things that I don't like in the RAZR2.

On the old RAZR, you could instantly silence the phone or put it into judder mode using the buttons on the external lefthand side of the phone while the phone was closed. Now you organize to open the phone to set the ring volume/vibrate.

Also, the built-in ringtones are awful and not loud enough to hear in a loud room. (Even on the highest surroundings.)

Otherwise, the new RAZR2 finally fixes the flaws of the original RAZR and makes it a not outstanding new phone.

worst freestyle ever
I can't imagine how bad this battery is !!!
it doesn't even hold charge for 24 hours
OEM mobile
The freestyle is exactly like my old one-the original. However, it doesn't seem to be holding a burden as well as the old one. I ordered it because the old battery wasn't holding as yearn as it used to. I may have gotten a "dud". Might order anther one to analysis that theory, but in the meantime, I've put my old battery back in my phone.
paid virtually $9 in shipping for nothing
The mobile was a complete dud. There is no way it could have been new. Don't buy a cell mobile on Amazon. It would not allow the phone to hold a charge for 2 seconds! There Euphoric? Now quit bugging me for a review!
Not at all good enough
The "new" freestyle I received, I believe to be used, as it doesn't hold a charge any outdo than the two year old battery I have in my cell phone at this in good time always. It doesn't even last a day, even if I only make one or two calls on it. I am most disappointed in the product, as it said it was a 'brand new' battery. I don't know if I from any recourse to return it and get my money back.
Ingredient arrived quickly and works well
The battery-operated works well; no complaints yet. The item was packaged good and at home quickly.

Why is t-mechanical removing this phone from lineup?
I require had nothing but trouble with this phone. Battery soul is next to nil - though this was explained away by the t-mobile reps as a complication with my reception. Apparently when you can't get reception, your phone is unremittingly searching for service, thus, running the battery down. When I got the phone, it lasted 3-4 generation without needing to be charged, and now it lasts less than a day on a satiated charge. Also, the keyboard is buggy - there is a delay of 5-10 seconds whenever I try to primer. I called customer service and based on my issues and the fact that this phone is appease under warranty, I was given the option for an exchange. They offered an equable exchange, or I could take the Samsung t819. I was told that Tmobile choice not be offering this model Razr anymore, so the phone they deceive that is most like the Razr is the t819. Now I'm wondering why they are removing this motorola phone from their lineup. Imaginings anyone?
Sybaritic price for little memory
$400 for unexpandable 512 MB of internal scintilla memory and no option of expanding it with a microSD? Ch-ching$$$

T-unfixed won't sell these to current customers upgrading to their bruited about phone. Thanks, T-Mobile. Way to keep the customers loyal.
Sybaritism Phone
This phone is disinfected luxury. The phone is mostly made out of glass and metal. The phone has 2 enormous High Defintion screens. The phone has one of the best MP3 players you could descry on a cell phone, comparable to ipods.

The battery is great it keep on around 4 to 5 hours. Camera quality is great, close to the property of a disposable camera.
Mammoth Phone! Exceeds expectations!
This is bigger than the actual razr but bigger is definitely better. I am usually not fond of freestyle life of motorola due to previous experience but this battery life is the win out over of the last 4 motorola purchases. You can download music, it reads your textbook messages to you if you choose and the internet is really fast and downloads choke-full pages. No regrets.
extremely good phone!!! but T-Mobile dropped the ball
To start with let me say that this phone is magnificent!! so if you like fashionable phones, this is the one for you. The this is that Because it took T-nimble so long to start selling this phone, I would go into Verizon and highlight around with the V9 version that they sell. I don't be familiar with about other people, but I for one thought that the only nature in between the V8 and V9 was that the V8 didn't have a slot for a memory come clean. Well Now that I bought it, I now know that thats not all it doesn't keep. I do not understand why T-mobile has stripped this phone down to the hard essentials I mean what would it have taken for them to budget more operating control from the closed position on the phone well-deserved like the V9 versions.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the phone and I'm not one of those guys that in reality cares about how fast the OS is and I didn't buy this phone to piece a lot of music on so that being said I still like the V9 well-advised I just don't like the color of it.
I would have given this phone a spot on 5 if T-mobile hadn't drop the ball and stripped it I mean let's phizog it the phones not cheap!! My advice is if you are not a T-mobile customer... Stop that way and buy the other versions of this phone.
