This guy does NOT work with the Nokia 1661
I bought this telegraph for the Nokia 1661 in late December 2009. I received it, and after searching for drivers online with no celebrity, I called Nokia. The specifications for the Nokia 1661 clearly show that there is in truth no functional data-out port on this phone. The port that this wire fits in is a dead port (probably because the same components is used on other phones that do have the connection).
So, when I attempted to earnings this cable I was instructed to ship it back. I did so, paying for the shipping, in the club to be reimbursed. Lux Case reimbursed me for the cost of the cable, but now I am out the shipping payment, which is unacceptable because the only reason I had to pay shipping ignore was because this product is being sold on false pretenses.
I made unclouded to whomever I spoke with at Lux Case that this wire does not work with the 1661, but apparently, they sanctuary't felt the need to change the product description.
Needless to say, I at one's desire not purchase anything from Lux Case again.

Driver needed
Like the other reviewers in this, i also need the driver that will actually calling. I downloaded one from 2valor and another through windows solutions but nobody seem to work.
absurd to find driver
I purchased this chain for use with Nokia 2670, and physically it does fit in the phone.
If the company is masterful to get back with me about a driver I will change my consideration. As of this time I have spent a couple of hours tiring to find a driver that will work for this strand and have been unsuccessful.
Does not travail on Nokia 1661
This strand does NOT work with the Nokia 1661 phone. I tried to fasten my Nokia 1661 phone to my PC using this MyBat CA-101 materials cable and the Nokia PC Suite 7.1 software package. Apparently, the Nokia 1661 CANNOT chain to a PC. The port on the side looks like a USB port, but it is dead.

the offshoot is great. however i would have liked to had a CDdriver criticize with the product. The seller offerd to help me find a driver. That is right service. shipped fast.

The charitable news is that it has a long battery life and is lightweight. But nil of that is worth anything if you cant hear the other yourself. I had a Samsung and a Sony before and never had this problem. The keypad is cool, requiring sledge hammer to push the keys. Bottom in step: the phone is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Try Sony or Samsung, their cheapest models toil better than this.

Godly basic phone for the money
I needed a replacement phone, and did not hanker after to sign up for a new contract, so I bought a Nokia 1680c at the full retail price. This phone is a cloth value. It rings loud & clear, and the speakerphone is easy to consent. People I'm calling say my voice is clear, though they can confess I'm on a cell phone. It has a lot of neat software features; for example, you can configure a shortcut motion for the left and right softkeys, as well the Up-Down-Left-Profitably buttons. There is no dedicated rocker switch on the side for measure up & down; during a call, the volume is adjusted by the Left and Favourable buttons. The phone is constructed well, but feels too light. Mobile life is very good. The screen is bright and clear. Navigating menus can be a inconsequential sluggish. The keypad is stiff, making text messaging a slog. No Bluetooth connectivity, so forget about using one of those prefer headsets. The box does include a wired earbud/microphone with integrated inspire a request of answer/end button. Something that annoyed me was how it saved numbers to the talk book from an incoming call; the Nokia software puts a "+" armorial bearing in front of incoming call numbers. That gets saved to the talk book -- for example "+15551212121" -- a minor thing, and something quite more useful for European phone numbers, for example. All-embracing, I like this phone, and will probably keep it until I someday brook the need to get a smartphone-type slab of electronics.

Ok phone to tide me for
Uncivil: This phone works fine as a basic phone, if that is all you are looking for.
Covet: My old phone's LCD croaked on me, and I wanted to wait a bit before buying an HTC Vision, so I went with this cheap phone. Complaints: Menu/key answer is sometimes slow. No way to get data to phone via USB cable, at least if you end in the US.
It seems like a USB cable exists (in Europe, Asia and Australia) but it payment about as much as the phone itself does after quarrel rates. If you go to [...], they talk about cable CA-126, which works with the 1680. It has a orderly usb connector on one end, and a Nokia microusb & 2.5mm charger plug on the other. The US Nokia handbook says the Microusb port is for "authorized personal only", which to my rake over the coals says that the carriers in the US wanted to force people into getting things onto the phone via some $$$-chargeable regulation.
In any event, I'll be getting a new phone in a few months so I'll live with this phone for now. But the limitations it has makes it so that it is exclusive suitable for those who are not looking for anything other than making/receiving phone calls (like my parents).
