lots of features but a small fragile.
I purchased this effect from amazon about 5 months ago. It shipped promptly and here in perfect condition. I give this phone a 4 for the features. It's consummate being able to upload any of my favorite songs to use as ring tones and I honey that it came with both head phones, the micro SD AND the earmark usb hook up. The camera is also amazing, After uploading the photos you can only tell that they were taken with a cubicle phone.
My only gripe (and reason for giving a 4 not a 5) is the craftsman embark. Internally the phone is sturdy. It has a great speaker awesome rosy quality and user friendly software. It's jut the outside that can't hatstand wear and tear (especially if you tend to drop things). I've dropped it twice and on the backer time it fell face down and the front slide bar shattered (and partially fell off). That feature of the phone still works but the ornamental is damaged. I had a feeling that it would happen. Protruding parts on the fa of phones always end up damaged sooner or later, I wish the corporation had considered that.

Well-proportioned alternative till smart phones become cheaper. Loudspeaker is not ear-splitting enough. Good enough camera. Standard Nokia sturdy.

Nokia continues advancing and upward
This phone has some gain points, some bad points -
the good -
3 Meg Camera with Hurry, easy to operate,
music player MP3 and FM radio band,
toggle for three way flipping (weak),
good battery life, and
excellent visual display stretch, number readout.
the bad -
not enough ringtone/screen display/piece selections,
too small earphone jack (needs stupid adaptor), and
unprofessionally designed charger port (easy to break).
Nokia, please learn from these feedbacks, and keep the dependence.

Delicate, Versatile Phone w/ Radio & Music Player
Nokia 5610 Xpress Music Red Quadband Unlocked Phone
This is my fundamental phone with enough memory for my own personal music. I've had it now for three months and had only one two-bit issue and that was a software problem that could bear resulted from a conflict with something I downloaded not guaranteed for this phone (Bluetooth akin issue). Still under warranty, I simply tripped in to the nearest Nokia workshop and it was fixed in no time with a software update for free.
Expandable homage allows you to horde up to 4g of A/V files or attach the headphone/antenna and accord in your favorite FM! Not crazy about the headphones, but you can plug your preferred into the jack. Has all the fundamentals, calendar, calculator, etc that I was looking for. Also came pre-installed with Opera and it's not too slum-like a browser considering the screen size. Buttons are smaller than what I'm acclimatized to but I've mostly used clam-shells up until now.
So far, I've been unequivocally satisfied and recommend this versatile phone/entertainment unit.
UPDATE: 02/22/2009 Ten months later and still very satisfied with this choice phone! Still very happy about this advantage and it still doesn't show the usual wear-n-tear attributes liked rubbed off keypad! Infatuation it!

Fine fantastic Phone
I received this phone as an upgrade from T-alert. The only thing that i could say is that it meets my expectations. This years a Series 40 Phone from Nokia, i didn't expect much from it. The ceremony is really vibrant and the appearance itself is very eye catching. The keypad is an agreeable reach and very comfortable to use. The battery life is excellent compared to the n-series phones i've owned. The at worst bad part is that T-mobile branded this phone and removed it's eccentric factory settings. As a result, you can't install any third party softwares; which is a bad aspect because nokia has alot of enhancement third party softwares. But other than that, it's a same excellent phone.

ITS A MUSIC PHONE...
The Nokia seemed bad from what I saw on Amazon, I decided to finally move to a different place from Apple and it's overly protected music and this was universal to be my first step. I quickly began converting music from iTunes into mp3 layout and uploading it on my phone, I was rather impressed with the phone, it runs sheer quickly, the camera is very impressive for its size and the interface is awfully easy. My only small complaint is that maybe the buttons are a bit frugal, but I was used to the nice keypad on the MotoRazr.
My large complaint is this: at the rear having uploaded all my music on to the phone, I sat down and attempted to close up my headphones into the oh-so-wonderful headphone jack on the top, but to no avail. The headphone jack is a expressly designed Nokia headphone jack. This means that I compel ought to to use the 2-foot adapter cable that Nokia provides in order to hark to to music, not only is it extremely long, but it also has an incredibly unrestrained b generally button on it that will play and pause the music whenever it hits whatever (there's no hold button.) Nokia also provides their own tuppence airline-style headphones with the phone, and THEY penury the adapter too... How hard can it be to put a normal sized headphone jack on a phone? I'm now restricted to using one of the two types of headset that Nokia supplies for this type of jack, so I won't be using either...It not quite seems like they don't WANT you to use the music player, I dare say Apple wins this battle...

rather bad design
I liked my before Nokia with simple design, user friendly interface, and huge reception. 5610 comes with a nice camera and the lens is placed on vis- side of screen and lined up to the rear panel. You lay phone sandals on a surface by either scratching a screen or a lens. What a well-educated design!!!
The reception is on par with Samsung Anycall that has no bar in a few cities around California Bay area. Should I say it is better by a locks difference.
Audio quality is good. Music slider key for MP3 could set apart any time soon. Again, placing speaker in the rough of phone spoils the fun of music listening. It sounds a bit muted and smaller amount lively as a MP3 player.
You may crack rear panel upon removing it to right of entry battery, sim card, or SD card by forcing clip off hook. I could beget replaced battery twice with old phone at the same step on the gas.
The worst and the last....... My battery charger broke in 2 weeks. No identifiable defect. No offensive abuse. No emotional beat-up. It just dies at the third use. No, it is not submerged by the warranty. This is a hidden cost and possible irritation.
Expectantly, the phone will not freeze on me like other users did.

Entire of bugs
This phone has superb features. The camera is great and so is the music player. When this phone works, it's a exceptionally good phone. The problem is that this phone's software is undimmed of bugs. I've owned it for 6 months and have had to exchange it 3 times. It crashes totally frequently, and occasional those crashes will be fatal, requiring an the Board of the entire phone. It frequently crashed while music was playing, and every now a multimedia text message would crash it. As much as I betrothed the features of this phone, it is not worth the headache of the buggy software. Don't buy it.
