Didn't occupation for Nokia 6070
The radiogram looked good, and it had a cd in the package containing windows driver camp. Installation was a breeze, but it failed to recognize my Nokia 6070. I just wanted to echo all my contacts before I threw away my old Nokia 6070, but, luck dind't favor me this nevertheless.

Consummate inexpensive full featured phone
Behindhand three months of constant hard use, this phone has held up stream. The battery life and call reception are very good. For an inexspensive phone the features are without equal, the WiFi and bluetooth capabilities are outstanding!!!. I am able to ultilize the bluetooth with both LINUX and Windows Vista, admitting that not a smart phone,syncing the phone is still possible with the nokia software. Internet entrance is great and fast for a phone of this size and price, I can follow my IP cameras from the phone and accessing URL IPs are very easy.
Bluetooth connections to other devices are likewise very good, I presently have a Garmin Nuvi 660 useful and all features work great, minus the texting mode.
My preceding phone was the Samsung Blackjack, a windows CE based phone, it had numerous bells and whistles , but not as functional or compatible with the Nuvi 660 as the Nokia 6086.
For texting the 6086 T9 and its forecast text can use a little improving, but I donot text much so I can endure with this draw back. As with all phones with american firmware the Nokia is reduced to English, French, and Spanish languages. Hopefully phone manufactors wishes be able to give the consumer a choice of languages in the future.
Upward of all I found the Nokia 6086 a very good phone in features, bonzer in price, and extremely good for combatibility with other devices.

Does truly what I bought it for
Consolidation: Good phone and service. So-So battery life with WiFi and some lesser annoying features.
I've been with T-Mobile in the south Chicago suburbs for concluded 6 years. I started my own construction business and needed something to use both in the corporation and out on jobsites. This phone and the HotSpot service fit the bill unmistakably. For the extra $10 a month for HotSpot, I've probably saved $30-40/month not upgrading to a foresee with more minutes.
I use the phone at my office on WiFi and secure my 600 plan minutes to use out in the field. The WiFi connection has been superb and the only issue has been incoming calls occasionally prevalent straight to voicemail instead of the phone ringing when on a WiFi network. When I am on a WiFi apostrophize and leave the office, the transition occasionally has a click or dead instant.
As others have posted, I found that battery human being is reduced when using the phone on Wifi. I came from a Motorola phone with a rare interface, so there are some minor Nokia annoyances but nothing that makes the phone un-usable.
I would leverage this phone and the HotSpot service again in my situation.

worst Nokia phone at any point
I attired in b be committed to been a life long Nokia cell phone user, and so when it came to upgrading my mom's stall phone, I bought another Nokia for her. She has used it for 3 months now. She has had nothing but non-stage problems. The phone keeps getting heated, getting discharged overnight. The wi-fi timer is very poor. I installed a wi-fi signal booster a few feet to another place from her chair and still no difference. The worst part is the brisk discharge and poor voice quality. I will now have to buy her other cell phone. A month ago I upgraded my own cell phone. I had sure to never ever buy a Nokia and so bought a Blackberry curve. This too has Wi-Fi. I from never had a problem. Strong signal all over the house, no heating up. No distrust battery life is poor, but 2 days with 2 hours of talk ever is not bad. I would thus not recommend buying a Nokia Wi-Fi. It is a pity that from the exceptional leader they are continuously going down. I personally at one's desire never ever buy a Nokia. I used to blindly buy Nokia phones and they served me valid well. But I think they have lost their technology move. Time to move on to another brand.

Power use makes phone useless
I set up owned many Nokia phones but never one that disappoints the way this one does.
Freestyle life - lasts 2 days at best, this is after trading in for a new battery-operated and never using WiFi
WiFi - useless as it eats the battery-operated alive and drops calls. You will have to charge the phone every day if you representation to use this. It also often cannot find a WiFi network requite if you are standing next to the router.
Connection - difficult to find care where other Nokia T-Mobile phones have no issues. Equally inconsistently receives/doesn't receive calls when the phone is sitting in the in any case place at the same time
The ability to make or receive a knock up a appeal to is really the most important consideration with a phone and that is the two together argue with for my low rating.

Becoming Phone
My suppress and I both have the Nokia 6086. While these have not been delinquent free, they are decent cell phones.
My husband had to get a replacement because the lecturer went out and he was unable to hear his phone ring or hear someone talking. This went very smoothly with Nokia.
At the rear having my phone for about a week, I had to get it replaced because it would not hamper charged. I could charge the phone and in 2-3 hours it would be unemotional. Since my husband has the same phone, I charged the battery that came with my phone in my phone. He charged the freestyle that came with his phone in his phone. When both batteries were fully charged, we switched batteries. My phone was inorganic in 2-3 hours. His phone still showed a full liability after 12 hours and a lot of calls, so obviously it was the phone, not the freestyle. T-Mobile replaced my phone and I haven't had any problems with the one I currently sire.
I have found 1-2 days on a charge is pretty much universal for any cell phone we've had. It depends upon how and how much it gets employed. I don't see any difference in power consumption with the WiFi connection.
The but other problem we have encountered is that sometimes the phone does not remain on the WiFi connection. We can make a call while connected, chain in the same place during the call and when we finish get we lost the WiFi connection.
In our opinions, these are not big problems.
This phone, with the headset plugged in and acting as an antenna, receives FM radio. Amazingly, it sounds lyrical good. It's not high-quality stereo, but it is a lot more than I even though it would be.
For what we want out of a phone, this is a good acceptance. Cell phones should be chosen based on needs and wants of the alcohol and, of course, what one can afford.

not bad
I bought 2 of these chargers as a replacement for the pony that came with my Nokia 6086 when the tip broke off. In terms of effect quality, I would say the charger is OK (3/5 maybe) ... I like the feel discomfited footprint on outlets (it doesn't block the other ports) and how touch off it is, but the head is a bit delicate. However, it's cheap enough so that I don't unusually mind the fact that it's a proprietary charger (+1 somebody).

Mammoth for price
Ameliorate for my Nokia 6085. I had destroyed my one charger by sucking the cord into the vacuum and the other by the end that plugs into the phone getting abnormal. Ordered two of these and basically paid the "shipping costs", which was tons cheaper than buying a new phone or buying this off Nokia's website.

Barricade Adapter
I was so in seventh heaven to get this adapter for my cell phone, and I think it works horrific! The only thing I don't like about it is the cord is a little shorter than what I'm hand-me-down to, but other than that I think it's a good product.
