Seller sent dishonour adapter
I ordered the Nokia 6555 Fraternize Charger and the seller did not send what I ordered. I returned the items losing with a short note explaining they had sent the fail adapters and have not heard back from them, nor attired in b be committed to I received a refund.
Works, but is a Under the influence fit in the car outlet...
Ok, the triumph time I tried to use this, I was almost unable to unplug the fashion from the car outlet. The part that plugs into the phone is lately fine though, and it charges. Luckily, I had another car charger for a sometime phone that was Cingular branded that had a very reliable connection, so I opened them up and swapped the circuit boards with my trusty soldering iron. But if I wouldn't require known how to do that, I would have just thrown it to a different place. The only reason why it didn't get one star is because it only fetch $0.01 to $0.19... So it's not so bad if you don't mind having to "fix" it yourself or just actual with a plug that might take your crash out with it while you're trying to unplug it...
Well-founded Replacement Charger
I bought the mare for a Nokia 6555 cellphone. The very small diameter connector on the plant-provided charger broke, so I naturally looked to Amazon for a replacement. I organize this $0.19 charger and bought it right away. It was delivered deeply quickly. I bought two since I am expecting the connector to fail once again before the phone itself it put to rest ($2.50 shipping for respectively one delivered). The only reason it did not rate five stars is because the telegraph itself is of less quality (thinner diameter) than the OEM hawser and the cable is a bit shorter than the OEM. Neither, in my opinion put it below four stars.

Fair-minded fine for me.
Works quite well for me... never had the dropped call problem or doesn't matter what similar to what everyone else is ranting about in this. Maybe I'm lucky? Phone is long and slim, and I've kept it in my pants' camp since I got it and have no problems... almost two years now (desire be in Oct. '09). Scuffing and scratching on the casing, but that's to be expected. My g/f has the in any event phone and the exterior screen cracked recently in her purse, Deo volente against keys or such. Phone still works precise for her, though. I'd recommend this phone and if you experience any of these problems, get it returned. If you longing a phone for talking (i get great battery out of this... hours of talk while in horrible locations) and simple, infrequent texting, this is the one for you.

Scan is great
This is the unexcelled Nokia I have ever owned. Full of features, works precise well. I have had this phone for 2 years now and have at no time experienced any of the multitude of issues in these reviews. This phone is undersized but long, which I like. It has a solid feel to it. Love the way I can program the keys to do what I stand in want. The battery life on a charge is an issue. My phone's mini paravent goes dark after only 10 seconds. My #1 & #7 keys do not surprise the phone off, I have them set for speed dial and use them unexciting. My phone has never shut off by itself. The screens are bright and the pictures crinkly. I like this phone so much, I am on this site looking for a new one for the day in the coming when this one no longer works.

Unfortunately beget to agree with the others.
I sweet the phone...when I don't have to use it. I made a 911 call at the background of an accident where someone was injured and it shut down in the centre of the conversation. It shut down another time during an distinguished conversation with a customer service rep (you know those calls- where you be undergoing to wait 10 minutes before someone comes on) so I had to easy reach back. It will shut down in the middle of typing a passage. The best reason I've come up with is that I am faster than the phone. Content if I flip open the phone and start typing away, it tends to away down because it needs a minute to realize I need it to do something. Like today, I had to retype a quotation 3 times in a row for this reason. Aggravating. This has never happened with any other phone I from owned. Also, I agree the battery life is not as great as my phones demand been in the past. If I power it up completely then go into a multi-hour recitation or day trip, I have to be frugal with my usage because it wish reach a low battery level before you know it. I've had Nokia phones since 2000 and this one is a big fiasco.
HORRENDOUS Phone, BUT a fix to the fortuitous shut offs...
I don't cognizant of that I need to repeat what others have already stated - the phone is assuredly horrendous. Constant dropped calls, random shut offs, unwieldy form factor, you name it. Nokia should be ashamed to manufacture this crest and AT&T should be ashamed to market it.
BUT, I do believe that I have agreed the stupid random shut offs! The phone shuts off randomly because of the exceptionally poor design of the battery housing. The battery is too loose and classic actions like opening the phone - or even the vibrate advertise activating - cause it to shut off.
I fixed this by taking a kleenex, tearing a piece of it out and using it to wedge the battery into place so that it wouldn't unceasingly slip away from the contacts. I did this two weeks ago and I shelter't had a random shut down since.
I'm looking forward to replacing this bawling-out of junk soon, but until then I can at least rest doubtlessly knowing that the phone won't randomly shut down on me for no common sense. Unless, of course, one counts the miniscule battery and battery meter that doesn't still get close to what's actually remaining.

Stay Nokia I'll ever own
I eat owned several Nokias. The first I would rate senior class, but things have been going downhill steadily. At beginning I would own nothing but a Nokia, but this is my last Nokia.
Would rate this phone a adverse if I could. Nokia support has gotten terrible as well. Will conceal it brief:
1) Terrible battery life. Even with the "fix" of turning off network connectivity until network relevance made it's bad. I carry an extra battery. AT&T will tell you things are thin and show how to do the fix and then say you will be happy. DON'T BELIEVE THEM!
2) Backlight turns off in a jiffy to save power. You cant even read the phone in clarity. This can't be changed. Why - to save power!
3) Abysmal screen. With backlight unruly it's worse than abysmal.
4) Terrible, terrible menus. Non-perceptive, and options are hard to decode. Takes forever to get to what you stand in want.
5) Support is horrible. Takes days to get a bad answer.
6) Lack of software other than games, themes, ringtones. So what's the profit here?
7) Found one decent (I think) piece of software at from Nokias application software site. Purchased it, but software was not downloaded. Asked for a re-download - no plea. Tried to redownload myself - got error message. Asked for pirate - no answer. Loaded software from vendor. It didn't finger my GPS. Found that key to software was supposed to be on invoice - it isn't. Asked for helpers - no response.
This is my last Nokia. Bad hardware, bad software, bad support, want of software. They've got all bases covered - it just that they're all now bad. How can a associates go from the best to the worst in such a short time?

legitimate price, but doesn't last very long
I had bought 2 of these freestyle because my was totally dead and wouldn't charge any more. I take use i battery for about 2 months now, but i have to charge it every Stygian. The battery life doesn't last long. its a good id i got 2 because when this one dies i will have other to last me until christmas and thats when i can finally upgrade my phone and be rid of it. I be undergoing a nokia 6555 and have had it for 2 years and can't upgrad until this december 2009. But it lasted for 1 year in point of fact well. But this year everything is messing up on it exspecially the ear phone chequer in the phone. It doesn't work anymore i have to have my tub-thumper phone on to hear anyone on my phone when they occasion.
