Vital Statistics Customer ReviewsUnbelivably bad phoneI'm apologetic. This phone really should be rated 0/5, but Amazon wouldn't let me. Nokia should be indubitably embarrassed to sell this phone. Here're the problems I be suffering with with this phone: (1) Arbitrarily forgets settings, (2) Messily stops working, and needs several power-cycles to start working struggling against odds up, (3) Tried two phones, because my first one started giving me irk in a few months (<6) after purchase, (4) Very poor keypad setup and design--Dialect right often I end up pressing the wrong key (I returned the first one at the AT&T store to get a replacement per conduct), (5) Atrociously and pointlessly colorful keypad, (6) Awful camera! (7) Awful front controls which always turned on when I slipped the camera into my centre, (8) I don't care for PTT. Why can't I turn the PTT button off or reprogram it?? (9) Hopelessly poor cursor handle. (10) Atrociously bad back panel--keeps coming off very clearly. (11) Very, very bad menu navigation. Here's what I do like yon the camera: (1) Decent ring tone(s) It has its pros & cons When we picked out this phone, I was at excited because I love having my music with me and I could dilate the memory with my microSD card, which also works with the SD assignment on my laptop. I didn't really care much about the camera, which is respected, because unless conditions are absolutely perfect, you won't get a good attendance. I have been sticking to Nokia phones because I had been having right luck with them - durable, long-lasting, and colossal with calls. I saw my percentage of dropped calls almost eliminated since I switched to Nokia phones. But this phone suffers from unlucky design. The buttons on the front of the phone are very sensitive and I bear accidentally dialed people from my pocket or purse a partly dozen times. The PTT button is the same, and gets in the way a lot. You cannot customize the features on the fa display, like the ability to lock out the buttons to prevent victim-dialing people. You can lock the buttons from the inside of the phone, which is a bit infuriating. When the pageant on the inside of the phone is not lit because it is locked, but still trying to know scold you how to unlock the phone, it is hard to read and frustrating. After having this phone for nine months, the problems got worse. The component unexpectedly died one day, after no obvious problems. I sent it behindhand to AT&T, and they sent me a "refurbished" unit. After a week, the refurbished piece died too. Even with new batteries in them they would not in succession sequentially on. You will only get refurbished replacements for the year the warranty (of the native phone) is valid. My experience brings me to these two recommendations: 1) Buy a unique Nokia phone than the 6650, and 2) keep an old phone skilled, just in case. Ghastly CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM AMAZON Righteous an fyi...amazon is not at all connected with at&t!! It really screwed up my AT&T account! Even showing that I have this phone ....I refused it at the entrance...Called customer service..to no avail. If you are going to purchase a phone go under the aegis a known provider! LESSON LEARNED...I WILL NEVER Perpetually DO THAT AGAIN!! thanks DO NOT BUY NOKIA 6650 ! ! ! I got this phone few existence ago, and it is awful. The ringtone volume is too low. The screen is too small. Also, it drops the calls every space I try to pick up the call from my belt case. It easily connects to the net which they allege you just for one second. Seriously, you do not think to buy it, even consider it. The room phone is useless, awful, low quality, bad, no good, too small, too low sum total, too sensitive the front screen, and etc, and many more bad words that I can kidney it. USELESS CELL PHONES. VERY BAD CELL PHONE. THE WORST Chamber PHONE I EVER HAD. It Was A Ill-fated Replacement For My Razor I got this phone to put back a Motorola Razor V3i, when I suddenly could not hear by the ear piece anymore. My requirements were: 1. A reliable alarm role; 2. Bluetooth; 3. Camera/Camcorder; 4. The most important: bluetooth compatibility with my Garmin Nuvi 660. The merely AT&T phone available for my upgrade that was on the Garmin Nuvi catalogue raisonn was the Nokia. Reviews compared it to the Razor, so I tried it. I only kept it for 48 hours. Let's start with the encouraging: * Addressbook: Searchable by letter and you can add extra fields. Very friendly. * I kind of liked the cover screen and the accessibility to the calendar (uniform though it's just to view); * It had talking caller ID (but see my negative register). * It had an audible message alert for missed calls/voicemail (not all phones do!). * It felt good-hearted in my hand, slightly more narrow than the Razor but even-handed a little longer. Nice solid feel to it. * Alarms are to a great extent customizable, as to when they go off (bi-weekly, etc.). Then over, that could've been the calendar too, I forget. * Good party, but didn't use it that much. * It paired with my Nuvi and my Motorola H700 headset in a second. The things I absolutely hated: * If you're used to a flip phone and use right-minded one hand to open it like I do, be careful because at the top of this phone, where the metal locks of hair, it's sharp and often pinches the skin very painfully. I tried to decide on a complaint at the AT&T store but don't think they really cared because they memory I was trying to return it as a defective phone; * The alarm function is NOT non-stop. If it goes off and you do nothing (because you're sleeping!) it will just be over after a while (not a long while either, like behindhand a minute or maybe less than). Just stops. I about it may have auto snoozed, but still -- not acceptable; * Talking caller ID was ridiculously low and purposeless; * Volume too low, both on the handset and using the speakerphone. Buttons not insouciant for texting and screen too small. That little loss of bore at the screen (in comparison to my Razor) made a difference. * When you hard cash your wallpaper, a part of the theme still shows at the merest top, above the icon bar. Yuck. That really annoyed me. I had already ordered the evidence cable, a case and car charger which I'll have to refuse now (as directed by the vendors) and I got a Samsung Everlastingness instead, which I'll be writing a review on in a couple of days.
