Doesn't do all it should require
It was said that I could set down the pictures off my phone and put them onto the computer with this rope. Couldn't find a way, even with download, so I called Samsung and was told my phone is not gifted of doing that. My phone WAS on the list for being compatible with this string. I can use it to recharge my phone by computer, but that is all.

Chain Works
The rope works and does it's job. It when it arrived, it didn't appear to be OEM or not like the closing few OEM samsung cables of the same make.
It charges and active syncs and that's all I am disturbed about.

Hardly plug it in and it works right out of the box for my A737. I was able to copy all audio, video, impression files from my cellphone to the computer! couldn't ask for more at 3$ (incl shipping)

Subdued
This phone looks exacting. The exterior is OK, although it seems to get chipped easily, and the clamshell is straightforward to open with one hand. My previous phone was an LG, which had neither of these problems.
Conceive of quality in the camera is decent, but it needs an ungodly amount of light-bulb in order to use a reasonable shutter speed. This means that your pictures on out blurry unless they're taken in bright sunlight.
The directional pad and engagement buttons above the phone keypad suffer from an damned poor design. The whole area is one flat piece of paste, so it's hard to tell where the boundaries of each button are. Since the act and menu/OK buttons are larger, you'll often hit them by accident when you meant to use one of the directional keys. This is least frustrating, and brings me to my next point.
The Achilles heel of this exemplar is its texting capabilities. First of all, accessing your inbox from the homescreen is hazardous (even if you've assigned it a shortcut like I did, it still takes various button presses). I can't possibly explain in detail everything that's erroneous here, but the highlights are:
-- The T9 engine is predisposed to stupid suggestions (today it proposed "can'v" previous "can't").
-- You cannot hold the BACK key to delete word-by-word: rather than, it deletes to the start of the message, so you lose everything.
-- If you type a routine word, it seems to forever appear at the top of the suggestion list. So the one stretch I typed "8mm" has made it precede "too" forever.
-- Emoticons always come up as pictures, so I'm not sure what characters it's actually sending.
-- T9 is too excited to add additional words. It's very frustrating to have the phone add a needless word just as I'm sending a message. I have to be careful and edit out these words before sending, or I look like an idiot who can't standard.
-- Scrolling is extremely error-prone due to the flat directional pad-- you on frequently hit Next or OK when you're trying to scroll through a bulletin, which brings you to a different screen.
-- The SMS Inbox is limited to 100 messages, and displays an maddening warning message when you have 10 or fewer slots uneaten. There's no way to disable the warning, and to clear out your Inbox, you secure to select each message one-by-one. If you press the wrong key while you're doing this, it kicks you out of passage mode and you have to start over. What were they reasoning???
And here's the remaining bad points of this phone:
-- It's too hard to hit the measure up/down buttons on the side of the phone. If I just want to rouse the screen to check the time, I have to blindly mash the waves of the phone, which (I haven't figured out why) often leads to the clock present away and the screen showing only the cryptic message "Key Safety: Off". Whatever that means.
-- Activating the camera is slow. If you requisite to take a quick snapshot of something, don't bother.
-- The battery subpoena is unreliable. It will often stay at 100% for days and then speedily drop to nothing. This remains even after I impart a point of fully draining the battery, which is supposed to ease.
-- The font size is unnecessarily large. I would prefer to see more of my report on one screen than be able to read it from 3 feet in another place.
In conclusion: it sucks.

Essential Phone with Average Web/Music Support
I've been using this phone for 6 months on Sprint's network with mix results. In this's my short list of plus & minuses:
The Good:
+ Supports only about anything you want: text, photo, web, video, music, bluetooth inclined to.
+ Battery lasts 3-4 days if just used for talking.
+ SD fit for extra memory for music and photo files. This was a requirement for me.
+ Very sleek, flat design. Great for pockets.
The Bad:
- Speakerphone mark works best only at lower volumes. It gets heavily hazy at higher volumes.
- Not designed for texting. It works in a pinch but is not at one's fingertips for heavy texting.
- Battery life lasts only a few hours when using any web capabilities such as browsing or streaming audio/video.
- Web browsing is ordinarily very slow and clunky. Don't know if it's a problem with the phone or the accommodation provider.
- My biggest peeve: can't listen to any streaming audio/video via bluetooth. For all that they will work off standard earphones.
Overall a data d fabric basic phone but wouldn't recommend it for heavy text or web users.

A Principal phone
Fortunately to sum it up, this is pretty much a basic phone for people who aren't eager to spend a lot of money on a phone. I have yet to have a problem with the phone, and it holds its debit for a long time. I even have good social in my office building. People forget sometimes that the principal function of a phone is not to take pictures, not to play your mp3's...but to be a PHONE. The download speeds on the phone are terrifying. For the person complaining about the phone adding words while texting, this is called predictive exercise book input, and the feature can be turned off. One thing that could be improved is to put a flare on the phone. Overall a pretty decent phone for big Chief who isn't looking for their phone to be everything under the sun. For those who yearn for better pictures...here's an idea....GO BUY A DIGITAL CAMERA!

Unexcited little phone but no pc software to support it.
I've had the m510 for 8 months now and be struck by had very few problems with it, actually it has proven to be the most principled phone I've ever owned.
The design is sleek and smooth, stashes in pockets undoubtedly although I usually use a belt carrier.
I purchased a 1GB miniSD fated which is works flawlessly increasing its storage capacity and allowing me to be careful of movies that I copy to it, not having to transmit/receive timer.
Speaking of video, the video is pretty good on the device and receives little short of anywhere I go.
Unlike reviews, I found that with a petty experimenting I was able customize the screen to where I wanted it and while I do not compel ought to 1 touch application launches, I do have 2 touch application launches which I can question live with.
The only problem with the product is not surely a phone issue, but a carrier-signal issue: Where I trade there is lot of HEAVY electronic and radio interference as well a gigantic terrain features that cause my m510 to switch finished to roam and search for a signal constantly. I can usually only get relating to 6 hours of battery life from a single charge on the sample battery. I purchased the extended battery, hoping that I can at smallest amount of make it through a complete work day on a regular basis.
The corporeal bummer though is that there seems to be a complete be deficient in of working software linking a PC to the phone. The software from the Samsung plot just does not seem to work well with this phone when connecting via Bluetooth or USB strand. - sigh :(
The phone itself is great, the lack of PC software bites.

Information Phone except for power connector
I valid got this phone and, in general, find it fits my requirements.
My strength issues with the phone are as follows:
1)The power connector is honestly awkward. For some reason Samsung has been un-improving its power connectors remaining the years. My first Samsung supported a cradle which was ideal. The subsequent had no cradle available but required inserting a 3.5 mm plug on the in the final. Now it gets its power from a mini USB connector which ought to be inserted with a particular orientation unlike the 3.5 mm off. The connector is covered with a very flimsy plastic sheathe that is hard to open. Additionally its on the side making it a two handed mechanic to disconnect. I am sure the plastic cover will break off one of these era. Perhaps that will be for the better.
2)The phone is really disconcerted for my hands. Some may consider this a good thing but the prior models were small but still easy to manipulate. It's intently to flip open, especially with a single hand. Positively opened however, the size doesn't bother me.
3)Lack of a way to silver themes or ring tones without using the extra wireless services. I'm not one of those acquiescent to pay to use internet on my phone. The screen is too small and the keyboard too limited to cause surfing the net a worthwhile experience for me. However, this phone requires you to use these supernumerary services for simple things like uploading a ring attitude or changing the theme. I should be able to do this at an end USB from my laptop.
Some have also complained apropos the flat keypad. I see their point but found that in the rear a while, I could click the right button with rational accuracy.

It'll get the job done
I saw this as a reduced way to see if my old digital camera still had any value. If it leaked, I was out the $20 I could get for it on eBay. If it worked, I had an underwater camera on the tuppence. It worked out alright. It isn't nearly as good as a case made specifically for the camera, but it is bouyant & it kept the camera dry (zip supervision padlock seal and two velcro seals). I'll agree w/ some of the others that you father to make some effort to ensure that the lens is sharp cleanly through the middle of the lens tube. I have some pics that look like they were bewitched through a porthole. Not really a big deal. I used it w/ a Sony DSC-P71. The stretch on the left end of the bag is tight w/ this camera & the controls (mode selector vicinity and menu keys) are tough to work w/ while the camera is in the bag. There is no frustration w/ the power or shutter buttons. If you have an old camera lying encircling that isn't worth but a few dollars, I recommend trying out the bag. For someone like me who only has a need to use it once or twice a year, it is a cost effective way to get an underwater competent camera. And if it leaks in the future, no big loss. I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars because at the end of the day, it is a generic sized, intimate ziplock baggie.

Waterproof but value matters
It was once waterproof; no issue there. However, it wasn't a good fit for our camera (We could not note a case that matched the specs for our camera), so we had to improvise by stuffing files in the end to try to make the camera stationary inside the casing so the lens would extensive/close. The pics came thru clearly, but most had suggest of the round extended lens casing in the pics. We could not see thru the camera viewer so it was tolerably much aim and click. It was also a little difficult to turn the camera on and off guts the casing. The pictures that did capture the intended subjects turned out bare well.

Significant for snokeling in Maui
This camera if it happens worked very well for me in Maui. It kept my Canon A570IS camera dry. I got some subtle, clear pictures of the reefs, fish, and fellow snorkelers. The key for underwater pictures with this patient is to shoot in nightscape mode.

Modify Tight But Center Your Shot!
I won't weary everyone with repeated details by all the expert reviewers out there. I when one pleases simply say it works 100% perfectly keeping water out of my Canon Powershot A460. No more than thing I have to do is to be careful to try looking through the very undisturbed to see clear back case to see I have the camera "centered" in the houses. Otherwise, the lens shows the lens cover of this come what may instead of my shot. I am a lousy photographer anyway so who cares! I now go kayaking and oblige pictures of sea lions, porpoises etc. Oh yeah! The funniest stuff I clothed is watching all the idiots launching and retrieving their boats (mostly Maudlin!) at the Marina loading docks! Oh the fun of retirement....

Momentous for underwater pool shots of kids!
I use this predominantly for underwater videos and photos of my daughter swimming. There's in no way been a problem, although underwater motion photography with a digital camera is subdue a challenge, especially when you often cannot see the LCD display (either not using goggles or too sharp-witted outside). The outer edge closure of the Dicapac has affront wear after one year use (and the camera going in and out about twice a week), but it is but reliably waterproof! We have a second should anything come about to our first Dicapac. (See video review for "promo" space launch of my daughter with the Dicapac case cord... I'll try the photo there).
