SO I got this for my girlfriend for XMas. Close phone! She loved it, but went out of town and went swimming in the gobs...with it in her pocket. So it WAS an awesome phone! Thanks though!

Sweetheart/Hate
Pros: It's alluring. It's compact. It's sturdy. It works well as a phone. Reception is fit. Voice-dialing works great. I can check my gmail at a click of a knob. I can look up my google calendar the same way. (After simple programming) MP3 athlete works well. The sounds are great. I like multimedia manifestation of the phone, too. "Flipping" can be annoying, but considering that it is not a PDA phone but works reasonable as well, it is a minor inconvenience that one can easily put up with. Takes proper pictures. If you are a thoughtful photographer, you can end up with some frame-masterly shots. Video quality is not all that great, but I like it that it intuitively creates a quick time file that I can easily send to both Mac and PC users and they father no problem downloading and viewing them. After all, no one really intends on shooting an trophy winning film with phone camcorder, right?
Cons: MP3 Performer song list is not as intuitive as iPod. If you have 500 songs and the kerfuffle b evasion you want to listen to is song number 400, you have to go from the top all the way to 400. Get the fill someone in? Flipping can be annoying, but as mentioned above, you can get used to it. There is a big information curve on understanding all the functions and characteristics of the phone. You start out all hot, because the phone is beautiful and seems promising. Then you get frustrated particular fast by the "sensitivity" of the multimedia buttons and the constant flipping. And then you upon in love with it all over again as you get used to the phone, because it has a lot to make available. Love hate. Comes only with 64meg memory. Credible thing is that you can expand it by getting a 1 gig or even 2 gig memory Christmas card. I have 2 gigs and I love it. The extended battery is good to possess, but sometimes it's cumbersome to carry your phone in it. It's a beautiful phone, wouldn't you wish for to show it off? But the extended battery does come handy at times, so it's like, you have a yen for it and then you don't want it. You debate where to put the extended battery if you trick your phone off it.
Bottom line: I wanted to return this phone innumerable times. It's been 3 weeks. I am still debating. It has a lot of good things to propose, but it also has its quirks and problems. If you want something that comes adjacent to a PDA without the bulk, if you want something like an iPhone, but not yet enthusiastic to buy an iPhone like me, this is a good one to get. I most likely desire keep it, but I know that it will be a constant love/hatred thing. It sure is a beautiful gadget, though.

Cheap clip
On the contrary this case fit my Motorola phone perfectly the clip was so cadaver that I had trouble getting it on my belt. Then after smaller amount than two weeks the leather covering over the the clip came to one side leaving a sharp steel edge. I would not buy another one of these.

Oops, something went injure
Lovingly, unfortunately, it did not fit my cell phone. It was really inexpensive so not worth sending assist. Will have to try again. Could be my fault or not.
For twopence, provides a data connection
It's an native OEM Samsung cable, and it works. My only gripe is that it does NOT require the phone. I have to dock two stars for that because USB in all probability provides enough current to. (The original charger is rated at 0.7 A and USB provides a climax of 0.5 A)

I bought this for my sch-u740, and the mention in does not even fit in to the charger socket! Look at the picture of the advertisement and compare it to your charger..they aren't the same. Don't buy this if you are looking for a details cable for the sch-u740 model, however there are other ones specifically for that representation, just search for them in the search bar.
