Judge a different phoneBoth my son and I bought this phone during a promotional handle through our phone provider. We've had our phones for a little over a year (legitimate long enough for the warranty to expire) and the right hinge has now commission on both phones. Neither our phone provider or Samsung will get ready for any support. We will not buy another phone from Samsung.
Ghastly battery life and slow
When I primary got the phone the battery life was amazing. Within a month I replaced the freestyle because I was charging it almost daily. Within a few more weeks I was charging it common again. Also it was excessively slow. I could type out an thorough text message and wait a good ten seconds at least for it to destroy putting the words on the screen. Simply awful.
Battery-operated sucks.
This Samsung t6339 freestyle really sucks. When I first got the phone, I didn't give birth to to charge it every single day. After a few weeks of using it , I drink to charge the battery once every 23hours. It didn't settle last for a day! I checked the manual, it said the "standby" time is 8generation. My standby time is only 23hours. >_<
I like this phone
I got this phone all over a year ago. I must say that I do like it. The only downside is the freestyle. I have to charge it daily. When I first got it, it was good to go for a number of days without charging. I will be traveling to test its multiband & 3g ability in Thailand and Japan and I will let you know.
Uniform of Junk
I had a motorola slvr in the future this and the samsung was my first flip phone. I bought it because i was itching for a new phone at the back of owning the slvr for 2 or 3 years and because the samsung had interchangeable covers which were absolutely pretty.
I soon discovered that the battery life was subsequent to nil. It needed virtually daily charging.
I also had a lot of dropped calls all listed the mulholland corridor and dead spots on my street and in my home but i didn't grasp it was the phone's fault until I changed to a different phone, which had no such problems. (A also pen-friend got a Samsung at the same time and he also reported similar dead spots.)
Then, in arrears a few months, the right-side hinge broke. T-mobile rep said it may require been from carrying it in my jeans pocket and sitting fluff with the phone still in my pocket. Apparently, that puts too much force on the cheap plastic parts that are not designed to withstand stable usage. Eventually, despite crazy glue (and no more haulage in my pocket), the hinge fell apart beyond repair and I had to get a new phone smaller number than a year after I got it.
I replaced it with the blackberry curve, which i must had for 3 weeks and am very happy with so far.
IN SHORT, DO NOT GET THIS PHONE unless you appreciate carrying a useless (but pretty) piece of metal.
