Customer Reviews
Not a palatable buy
I organize had this phone for over a year and have had problems with it since I got it. Unfortunately, it is a toil phone, so I am stuck with it until I can get an upgrade in 6 months. The first off problem is that you can not talk on the phone without opening different other programs because the screen does not lock when on a phone on duty. In order to talk and not accidently hang up on someone or open unorthodox program, you have to push the top button in order to turn the shroud off. Second, my caller ID has not been working from the get go. It will cut off the actually's name and half of the phone number when it shows up on the cover. Sometimes it works, but I would say 85% of the time, the caller ID is cut off. And finish finally, the screen is slowing starting to stop working. In the top corners, the evaluate does not work any longer. This is a problem considering you sire to tap the "x" at the top right corner in order to close a program. I have to haste extremely hard on the screen for it to work in the corners. It has slowly gotten worse upon the last couple of months.
The camera on the phone is pretty substantial, but there is not flash. It's fairly fast compared to my Treo I had in the vanguard....but those are the only positives about the phone.
I would not buy this phone. It is not advantage the money....but I actually think its much cheaper now than when it gold medal came out.

I devotion this phone, Great Service, If you use outlook and like a PDA you pleasure like this phone. All your contacts in outlook cram easy to the phone. The Camera is good but no flash which is good for most times you would use a phone camera anyway. All in all this is a proficient phone/PDA snd I would bay another.

I haven't hit any buttons with my cheek while i was occupation anyone either. It looks very nice also. The camera and video are fine quality and I love the preloaded games of solitaire and etc. No regrets.

windows plastic 6 limits phones potential
I've had my handset for one week, thitherto i tried the Samsung saga which i found disappointing due to a minuscule screen and low pixel count. The 6900 is much better than the tale for web access and viewing/editing office documents. I also upon the 6900 more responsive than the saga but not nearly as petulant as I-phone.
I like the small size and Verizons 3G network forward, these were some of my criteria for buying a smartphone. This was purchased for my job where i have occasion for access to email and internet everywhere i go, it meets these qualifications without difficulty. Since I plan to carry the phone with me i wanted a few drawn in to make my life better such as: steaming audio and video. It does a enormous job with streaming audio if attached to a windows stream, consign to oblivion about non windows streams. streaming video capabilities are reduced to windows streams only, no flash support which means no youtube or online NBC shows.
I contacted Verizon in the matter of flash, they replied they didn't support 3rd function software, wouldn't offer anything more. I found an upgrade to windows flexible 6.1 but no improvements. Adobe states no flash support at the back of W.M. 5 but they are working with MS.
I signed a one year covenant, at the end of the year i plan to look at linux based handsets with any 3G provider.

No proper
I compel ought to had this phone for two months. It sucks but I cant compare it to other touch phones because I induce never had one before. You cannot be on it without opening up at least two programs or windows while talking on it because your ear hits all the buttons. The camera knob is right where a typical right handed person would put their hands to talk on the phone, so you unremittingly are tunring on the camera and taking pictures of your hands. Hands fluff the most frustrating piece of electonics Ive ever owned.
